V=velocity ,when we is tripled that means v ka cube . K.E= 1/2 m v2 . ratio will be (1/2 m v2)/(1/2 m v2) . so 1/2 and m will be cancel led . [(v3)2] /[(v,3)2]. So. 2 will be cancelled by 2 .we get ratio v3:v,3

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 7 months ago

Power as the rate of doing work, it is the work done in unit time. The SI unit of power is Watt (W) which is joules per second (J/s). Sometimes the power of motor vehicles and other machines are given in terms of Horsepower (hp), which is approximately equal to 745.7 watts.

Crystallisationis a process that separates a pure solid in the form of its crystals from a solution. The crystallisation method is used to purify solids.

For example, the salt we get from sea water can have many impurities in it. To remove these impurities, the process of crystallisation is used

Yes , it will because he has to complete his octate so he will take 1 electron to complete as it is in first shell K . 2 n2 = 2×1×2 = 2 . so there must be one more electron to complete .So it take it from another atom .so the charge will be -

Heat energy is needed to convert solid into a liquid because heat energy increases the kinetic energy of the particles. As the kinetic energy increases, the movement of the particles increases and eventually the bond or attraction between the particles gets broken and the particles start moving faster. Moving faster cause the state of the matter to change because the particles in solid are rigid but when heat is applied the particles are loosened and start moving freely. So it change into a liquid state. The heat energy that it used to change 1 kg of solid into liquid at atmospheric pressure and at its melting point is called the latent heat of fusion. In other words it is heat that is needed to melt 1kg of solid into liquid.

According to Bohr’s model, electrons occupy certain stable orbits or shells. Each shell has a definite energy. These orbits or shells are represented by the letters K, L, M, N... or the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4... The maximum number of electrons present in the shell is given by the formula (2n2), where n is the orbit number or shell number. The maximum number of electrons in different shells is as follows: i. The first orbit or K shell will have 2 × 12 = 2 electrons. ii. The second shell will have 2 × 22 = 8 electrons. iii. The third shell will have 2 × 32 = 18 electrons. iv. The fourth shell will have 2 × 42 = 32 electrons and so on. The maximum number of electrons which can be accommodated in the outermost orbit is 8. The orbits or shells are filled in a step-wise manner. Electrons are not accommodated in a given shell unless the inner shells are filled.

F1 = G M m / d1²
F2 = G M m / d2²

F1 / F2 = d2² / d1²

100 / 50 = (d2/d1

d2 = √2 d1

Hence the distance should be  √2 times the previous.

Tyndall effect can be defined as the scattering of a beam of light by colloidal particles present in a colloidal solution. This effect can be observed when a fine beam of light passes through a small hole in a dark room. This effect occurs due to the scattering of light by particles of dust or smoke present in the air.

Apparent weight of a body in a fluid means its weight when the object is immersed completely or partially in the fluid. If the object floats in a fluid the buoyant force acted on the object is equal to the actual weight of the object. So the apparent weight of a floating block of wood is zero.

Ultrasound is used in industry to clean ‘hard to reach’ parts of objects such as spiral tubes, odd-shaped machines and electronic components, etc. iii. It is used to investigate the internal organs of the human body such as liver, gall bladder, pancreas, kidneys, etc. iv. Ultrasound scans are used to monitor the development of foetus inside the mother’s uterus. v. It is used to break kidney stones into fine grains which then get flushed out with urine. vi. It is used in ‘sonar’ apparatus to measure the depth of sea and to locate the under-sea objects like hidden ice bergs in the sea.
