Cell transport refers to the movement of substances across the cell membrane. Probably the most important feature of a cell's phospholipid membranes is that they are selectively permeable. This feature allows a cell to control the transport of materials, as dictated by the cell's function.

Whenever an object falls towards the earth, an acceleration is involved. This acceleration is due to the earth's gravitional pull and is called acceleration due to gravity. It is denoted by g. Its SI unit is m/s sq. Let mass of the earth be M and an object falling freely towards it be m . The distance between centres of the earth and the object is R. From newton's law of gravitation, F=GMm _____ ......1. R2 Also, from second law of motion, force exerted on an object, F=ma Since, a =g (i.e. acceleration due to gravity ) F=mg .........2. Equating RHS of Eq.1 and 2,we get mg=GMm g=GM _____ Or ____ R2 R2

Function of nucleus- -------------------------------- #Nucleus plays an important role in cellular reproduction. In this process, a cell divides to form two new cells . #It determines the cell development and maturity by directing the chemical activities of cell. #It helps in the transmission of hereditary traits frkm parents to offsprings . #It controls all metabolic activities of cell.If it is removed, the protoplasm dries up. Function of cytoplasm- ------------------------------------ #It helps in the exchange of material between cell organelles. #It acts as a storehouse of vital molecules such as amino acid, glucose, vitamin, iron etc. #It acts as the site for certain metabolic pathways such as glycolysis etc. Function of cell wall- -------------------------------- #Cell wall permits the cells of plants, fungi and bacteria to withstand hypotonic conditions without burstings. #It has narrow pores, called pits.Through them, fine strands of cytoplasm (cytoplasmic bridges) called plasmodesmata are able to cross the cell walls . Plant cells interact with each other through these cytoplasmic channels. May it helps youu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
