Let number of rabbit = x

Number of duck = y

x rabbits have heads = x

y ducks have heads = y

Total head = x+y

According to question,

x + y = 50 ....(1)

x rabbits have legs =4x

y ducks have legs = 2y

According to question,

4x+2y = 184

=> 2x+y = 92 .....(2)

Subtract (1) from (2) we get

x = 42

So y = 8

Number or rabbits = 42

Number of ducks = 8

Since AB | | DC , angle d + angle a = 180° (consecutive angle same side of the transversal) . Similarly , angle a + angle b = 180° Since both have same R.H.S. Angle a + angle b = angle d + angle a = angle b = angle d. Or Angle ADC = angle ABC

Given : A triangle ABC
To Prove : The sum of all angles is 180o
Construction :Draw line a through points A and B. Draw line b through point C and parallel to line a.

Proof : Since lines a and b are parallel,
{tex}\angle BAC = \angle B'CA \\ and \ \angle ABC = \angle BCA'{/tex}
{tex}\angle B'CA + \angle ACB + \angle BCA' = 180 ^o {/tex}{tex}[angles \ on \ a \ line ]{/tex}
{tex}Thus\ \angle ABC + \angle BCA + \angle CAB = 180^o{/tex}

Hence proved
