Given that

First diagonal d1 = 16cm

second diagonal d2 = 24 cm

Area of rhombus = d1 x d2 /2

A= 16 x24/2

A= 16 x12

A= 192 cm2

Ritesh Pradhan 8 years, 4 months ago

Diagonals of a rhombus perpendicularly bisect each other Therefore, Ar. Of 1 triangle =1/2 × 8 × 24 =96 cm2 Ar. Of rhombus =96×2 =192 cm2

Given that side of cube = 6 cm . When two cubes are joined then length= 6+6=12 cm , breadth = 6cm and height = 6 cm

Total surface area = 2(length * breadth + breadth * height + length * height)

TSA = 2(12*6 +6*6 +12*6)

TSA = 2(72+36+72)

TSA = 2(180)

TSA = 360cm2

Shashwat Anand 8 years, 4 months ago

The total surface are will be found by putting 2l ,b and h in the formula of total surface area of cuboid which is 2(LB+BH+HL)

Take a triangle ABC, Construction: Draw line MN as parallel to base BC. Solution: In triangle ABC, angle MAB=angle B (alternate interior angle) and also, angle MAC=angle C (alternate interior angle) then, angle MAB+angle BAC+angleMAC=180 (MAB is a straight line) By replacing, angle B+angle C+angle BAC=180 Hence it is prooved
