For locating root 2 firstly u need to take Measurement of one unit . One unit can be whatever u want like 2 CM 3 CM etc. Then on one end of line measuring one unit draw 90 degree angle and then on keeping compass on that end with measurement one unit cut the 90degree angle and then join another end to that cut u will get the root 2
