Infinity is the term we apply to a value which is greater than any finite value we can specify.

Undefined means that the value can not be derived using standard rules and that it has not be defined as a special case with a special value; typically this occurs because a standard operation can not be meaningfully applied.

1. (a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2 2. (a-b)^2 = a^2 - 2ab + b^2 3. (a+b) (a-b) = a^2 - b^2 4. (a+b) (a+c) = x^2 + (a+b) x + ab 5. (a+b+c)^2 =a^2 +b^2 +c^2 +2ab +2bc +2ca 6. (x+y)^3 = x^3 + y^3 + 3xy (x-y) 7. (x-y)^3 = x^3 - y^3 - 3xy (x-y) 8. x^3 + y^3 + z^3 - 3xyz = (x+y+z) (x^2 + y^2 + z^2 - xy - yz - zx )

There many integers between any to integers. In this question 4 and -4 also contains many integers in it.But if see directly it contain 7 integers that are -3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3 but there are unlimited integersn it.Like if we multiply 4 and -4 by 10 then it will be 40 and -40 it contain 79 integers in it .So it depends on the numbers and numbers multiply to it.

P(1)=1^4 - 2*1^3 +3*1^2 -a*1 + b =5 (replacing x by 1 ) -------------------------(1)
again,
P(-1) = (-1)^4 - 2*(-1)^3 +3(-1)^2 -a*(-1) + b =19 (replacing x by -1 ) ---------------------------(2)

Equations (1) & (2) can be simplified as under :

-a + b = 3--------------(1)
a + b = 13 --------------(2)
from the above we get a = 5 and b = 8

so P(x) = x^4 - 2x^3 +3x^2 -5x + 8

P(2) = 2^4 - 2*2^3 +3*2^2 -5*2 + 8 = 16-16+12-10+8 =10

the remainder when p(x) is divided by (x-2) will be 10

Let x = 0.3 (equation 1) Multiply 10 on both sides 10x= 3.3 (equation 2) Subtract equation 1 from 2 10x=3.3 - x=0.3 = 9x=3 X=3/9 =1/3

Why -5 if 5 is zero so why we should put -5 stupid

Soumili Bhattachariee 7 years, 6 months ago

Let p(x)= x^3+kx^3+2x+8 Now, p(5)=5^3+k*5^3+2*5+8 =125+125k+18 =143+125k Here, 5 is the zero of the given polynomial. So, p(5)=0 Or, 143+125k=0 Or, 125k= -143 Or, k= -143/125. Hence, the value of k is -143/125.
