Sa of rhombus is 1/2× D1×D2. 96=1/2×16×D2 96×2÷16=D2 D2=16. As we know that diagonals of rhombus bisect each other at right angles. Therefore; By Pythagoras theorem; S1(square)=64+64 S1(Square )=128(root) =11. 3. Similarly each side is 11. 3cm

Simran Kaur 5 years, 2 months ago

If other diagonal is 12 cm.. Diagonals in rhombus bisects at 90°. It forms a right angled triangle... Length of diagonals after bisecting the diagonals=8,6 by diving them in 2 parts... Now, pythagorous theorum, H²=P²+B² H²=8²+6² H²=64+36 H²= 100 H=√100 H= 10 CM SIDE : 10 CM HOPE U UNDERSTAND

Simran Kaur 5 years, 2 months ago

Area of rhombus =1/2 (product of diagonals) 96=1/2*16*x 96=8*x x=96/8 x=12 Length of other diagonal is 12 cm.
