Let the measure of angles be 2x,4x and 3x Then,sum of angles of triangle is 180 A/Q, 2x+4x+3x=180 9x=180 x=180/9 x=20 Then, 2*20=40 4*20=80 3*20=60 Hence, the smallest angle is 40°

A chord of a circle divides the circle into two regions, which are called the segments of the circle.

The minor segment is the region bounded by the chord and the minor arc intercepted by the chord.

The major segment is the region bounded by the chord and the major arc intercepted by the chord.

We know ,

a³ + b³ + c³ -3abc = (a + b + c )(a² + b² + c² -ab -bc-ca)
now ,

a + b + c = 5
ab + bc + ca = 10

(a + b + c)² = a² + b² + c² +2(ab + bc+ca)
(5)² -2×10 = a² + b² + c²
a² + b² + c² =5

hence ,

a³ + b³ +c³ -3abc = ( a + b + c )(a² + b² + c² -ab- bc-ca)

=( 5)( 5 - 10) = 5 × (-5) = -25

DC =1 Area=19

Yogita Ingle 5 years ago

To start off with, we have to draw perpendiculars from A and B on CD at E and F respectively.

Now, we will obtain two right-angled triangles.

We apply Pythagoras Theorem in both of them:-

DE² = AD² - AE²

DE² = 5² - 4²

DE² = 25 - 16

DE² = 9

DE = √9

DE = 3 cm

Similarly, FC = 3 cm

DC can be re-written as:-

=DE + EF + FC (Also, EF = AB as ABEF forms a rectangle)

=3 + 7 + 3

= 13cm

So, the value of x is 13cm
