If this is an equilateral triangle then, Perimeter=(9+9+9)m =27m

Priya Bungla 6 years, 1 month ago

1=The sides of a triangle are 3cm,4cm,5cm. Perimeter of the triangle = 3+4+5=12 cm 2= The side of the equilateral triangle is 9cm. So the perimeter of a equilateral triangle is 9cm+9cm+9cm =27cm . 2= The equal sides of a isosceles triangle are 8cm And the other side is of 6cm So the perimeter = 8cm+8cm+6cm = 22 cm .

Q : Find the perimeter of each of the following shapes: (a) A triangle of sides 3 cm, 4 cm and 5 cm. (b) An equilateral triangle of side 9 cm. (c) An isosceles triangle with equal sides 8 cm each and third side 6 cm.

A:

A}
perimeter=3+4+5=12 cm
b}
perimeter=9×3=27 cm
c}
perimeter÷8+8+6=22 cm

It has been given that the cube ' S edge is 9cm so we can conclude that the height of cube will be also 9cm. Now We know that the cube touches it's base as well as edge. So from here we can say that it's diameter is 9cm then ultimately it's radius will be 4.5cm. Now apply the volume of cube to get answer i. e. 1/3πr^h. So 1/3 into 22/7 into (4.5)^2 into 9 = 190.33cm^3

Given: ABC is an isosceles triangle in which AB = AC. AD bisects ∠PAC and CD || AB.
To Prove:
(i) ∠DAC = ∠BCA
(ii) ABCD is a parallelogram.
Proof:
(i) In ∆ABC,
∵ AB = AC
∴ ∠B = ∠C    ...(1)
| Angles opposite to equal sides of a triangle are equal
Also, Ext. ∠PAC = ∠B + ∠C
| An exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of two interior opposite angles
⇒ ∠PAC = ∠C + ∠C    | From (1)
⇒ 2 ∠CAD = 2 ∠C | ∵ AD bisects ∠PAC
⇒ ∠CAD = ∠C
⇒ ∠DAC = ∠BCA
(ii) But these angles form a pair of equal alternate interior angles
∴ AD || BC
Also, CD || AB
∴ ABCD is a parallelogram
| A quadrilateral is a parallelogram if its both the pairs of opposite sides are parallel.

Triangle ABC ac sq = ab sq +=bc sq (5) sq = 3 sq + 4sq Therefore, triangle ABC is a right angled triangle right angle at point B . AREA of triangle ABC = HALF AB = BC ( half × 3× 4) =6cmsq For triangle ADC perimeter=2s =AC+CD+DA=(5+4+5) CM 14cm S =7cm By herons formula area of triangle =√ s(s - a ) ( s - b ) ( s - c ) Area of triangle ADC =√ 7 ( 7-5) (7-5) (7-4) cm sq = √ 7 (2)(2)(3) cm sq =2 √ 21 cm sq = ( 2× 4. 583 ) cmsq =9.166cm sq Area of ABCD = area of triangle ABC + area of triangle ACD
