We are required to the expression '3 + root 2.6' on the number line.

Since, we know,

3 + root 2.6 = = 3 + 1.61 = 4.61

So, it is required to represent the number 4.61 on the number line.

As we know,

The number 4.61 lies between the numbers 4.6 and 4.7.

p(t) = 2 + t + 2t2 - t3

p(0) = 2 + 0 + 2(0) -(0)

p(0) = 2

p(1) = 2 + 1 + 2(1) -(1)

= 2 + 1 + 2 - 1

= 4

x=2+√3   [given]

x+1/x =2+√3+1/2+√3

         =[2+√3][2+√3]+1/2+√3 [taking LCM ]

         =[2+√3]2+1/2+√3

         =4+3+[4×√3]+1/2+√3

         =8+4√3/2+√3

         =[8+4√3/2+√3]×[2-√3/2-√3] [by rationalising the denominator]

         =[8+4√3][2-√3]/[2]2-[√3]2

         =16-8√3+8√3-4[√3]2

            =16-12

x+1/x=4

[x+1/x]3=43 [cubing both side]

x3+1/x3+3×x×1/x[x+1/x]=64 [using {x+y}3]

x3+1/x3+3×4=64 [substituting the value of x+1/x]\

x3+1/x3=64-12

x3+1/x3=52

now,

(x³+x²+x+1) / (x+1)

= [x²(x + 1) + 1(x +1)] / (x+1)

=[(x² + 1)(x+ 1)]/(x+1)

= x² + 1

A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with opposite sides parallel (and therefore opposite angles equal). A quadrilateral with equal sides is called a rhombus, and a parallelogram whose angles are all right angles is called a rectangle.

There are six important properties of parallelograms to know:

  1. Opposite sides are congruent (AB = DC).
  2. Opposite angels are congruent (D = B).
  3. Consecutive angles are supplementary (A + D = 180°).
  4. If one angle is right, then all angles are right.
  5. The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.
  6. Each diagonal of a parallelogram separates it into two congruent triangles.

To represent root 2 on number line firstly see that which perfect square number is near if suppose root 1 is near it then on a number line take 1 cm length and then draw an upward arc of 1 cm with the help of protector as root1 + root 1 =root 2 and then draw a straight line through the arc then join that point with 0 point and by the help of the protector take the length of the newly line which you have joined to point 0 and then draw an arc which will be the root 2.....
