The rational number between a and b is (a + b)/2
Hence rational number between 1 and 2 is (1+2)/2 = 3/2
Rational number between 1 and 3/2 is [1+(3/2)]/2 = 5/4
Rational number between 1 and 5/4 is [1+(5/4)]/2 = 9/8
Rational number between 3/2 and 2 is [(3/2) + 2]/2 = 7/4
Rational number between 7/4 and 2 is [(7/4) + 2]/2 = 15/8
Therefore five rational numbers between 1 and 2 are 9/8, 5/4, 3/2, 7/4

So, √2 , 4√2 is a not a solution of the equation x - 2y = 4
Yogita Ingle 4 years, 3 months ago
x - 2y = 4
Put x = √2 and y= 4√2
LHS = √2 - 2 (4 √2)
= √2 - 8 √2
= (1-8) √2
= -7 √2
≠ 4
≠ RHS

Firstly we know that
perimeter of equilateral triangle= 3a
p+1= 3a
a=p+1÷3
height of equilateral triangle=√3a÷2
= √3×p+1÷3÷2
=p+1÷2√3

We express in fractional form
0.8=8/10
0.7=7/10
0.43=43/100
We sum up
8/10+7/10+43/100
=193/100
Where p=193,q=100

Given polynomial is f(x) = x³ - 3x² + x + 1 .
Here a = 1 , b = -3 , c = 1 , d = 1 .
Let α = ( a - b ) , β = a and γ = ( a + b ) .
As we know,
→ α + β + γ = -b/a .
⇒ ( a - b ) + a + ( a - b ) = -(-3)/1 .
⇒ 3a = 3 .
⇒ a = 3/3 .
∴ a = 1 .
And,
→ αβ + βγ + γα = c/a .
⇒ a( a - b ) + a( a + b ) + ( a + b )( a - b ) = 1/1 .
⇒ a² - ab + a² + ab + a² - b² = 1 .
⇒ 3a² - b² = 1 .
⇒ ( 3 × 1² ) - b² = 1 . { ∵ a = 1 }
⇒ 3 - b² = 1 .
⇒ b² = 3 - 1 .
⇒ b² = 2 .
∴ b = ±√2 .

Degree of Zero polynomial is not defined. It can have any degree.
P(x) = 0 can be written as P(x) =0 * xn where n can be any number.

Answer :
The zero of the polynomial of p(x) = 9 - 9x is (1)
Explanation :
Given,
- A real number a is the zero of the polynomial if p(x) if p(a) = 0
so here,
- p(x) = ( 9 - 9x )
Therefore, the value of x is (1).
Verification :
p(1) = ( 9 - 9(1))
p(1) = 9-9
p(1) = 0
since, p(1) = 0,
it is concluded that , the zero of the polynomial of p(x) is 1.
