It's Pythagoras theorem not Pythagora theorem The formula is(only for right angled triangle) - ifa triangle abc has ab as hypotneous and bc and cd as the remaining sides then - (ab)²=(bc)² + (cd)²

Firstly draw any two chords on the circle and then draw their perpendicular bisectors intersecting each other. The point of intersection is the circle it can be justified using the theorem ( Perpendicular from centre bisects the chord ) converse.
