Let x=0.666... ___(1) Multiple both side by 10 from eq. (1) 10×x =10×0.666... 10x = 6.666... ___(2) Sub. eq. (1) from (2) both side 10x - x = 6.666... - 0.666... 9x = 6 x = 6/9 x = 2/3

Let x=0.666.... Multiplying both the sides by 10 10×x = 10×0.666..... 10x = 6.666..... 10x = 6+ 0.666..... 10x = 6 + x 10x - x = 6 9x = 6 x = 6/9 x = 2/3
