A hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) is a type of hybrid vehicle that combines a conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) system with an electric propulsion system (hybrid vehicle drivetrain). The presence of the electric powertrain is intended to achieve either better fuel economy than a conventional vehicle or better performance. There is a variety of HEV types and the degree to which each function as an electric vehicle (EV) also varies. The most common form of HEV is the hybrid electric car, although hybrid electric trucks (pickups and tractors) and buses also exist.
ICT refers to Information and Communication Technology. This includes the role of computers, softwares, transmission modes, audio-visual components, middleware etc. in transmitting, accessing, maintaining and processing information.
So, hybrid cars considered an example of ict device

• HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language.
HTML was invented in November 1990 by a scientist called Tim Berneses-Lee.
HTML is an improved version of Standard Generalised Markup Language(SGML) which is a Meta Language used for defining and creating descriptive markup language.

This tab shows your errors and delays percentage both in the graphical and table view. This will help you to better understand which letters are still hard for you to type. You can switch between the Errors in percent chart (by clicking the button just below the tabs) and Delay in percent chart (by clicking the button). On the bar chart, the X-axis corresponds to the letters used in the lesson, while the Y-axis shows you the errors/delays related to each letter. If there aren’t any errors and delays for a certain character, it won’t show up on the chart. The table below represents the same data with the exact numbers

The characteristics of computers are:
1. Speed: Computers are fast in doing calculations. The speed of the computer is measured in terms of million instruction per second (MIPS).
2. Storage Capacity: Computers come with large amount of memory. They can hold lot of data. Computers can show a particular piece of information from large amount of data in a short time.
3. Diligence: After doing work for sometime, humans become tired but computers do not become tired. They work continuously. In fact, some computers which control telephone exchanges are never stopped. This is called diligence.
4. Accuracy: The results that the computers produce are accurate provided data and programs are reliable.
5. Versatality: We can use computer to perform completely different type of work at the same time.
6. Reliability: Computers work for many years without any problem. Few computers in the world are never switched off.

Page Margins are the space that is present in the between the page edge and the text. The page margins allow the user to control where the text is to be printed on the page. Paragraph Indent is the distance or the blank space that is needed to separate a paragraph from the left or right page margins.

Paragraph formats control the formatting of paragraphs in SAPscript whereas Character formats are used for text formatting within paragraphs.
Character formats will have Standard attributes like Bold, Italic, Underline, Font family, Font size etc.
Paragraph formats will standard attributes of Character formats and in addition to this, they will margins, Indents, tabs, Alignments, Line spacing and delimeters.

Step.1- Go the the local disks and choose the place where you want to crate folder.
Step.2- Right- click on the screen.
Step.3- Click on new. Then click on folder.
Step.4- Now it will appear on the screen. If you want then you can give it any name.

An IP address (internet protocol address) is a numerical representation that uniquely identifies a specific interface on the network.
Addresses in IPv4 are 32-bits long. This allows for a maximum of 4,294,967,296 (232) unique addresses. Addresses in IPv6 are 128-bits, which allows for 3.4 x 1038 (2128) unique addresses.
The total usable address pool of both versions is reduced by various reserved addresses and other considerations.
IP addresses are binary numbers but are typically expressed in decimal form (IPv4) or hexadecimal form (IPv6) to make reading and using them easier for humans.

Word processing mainly involves operations like creating, editing, viewing, searching and replacing, formatting, saving and printing text. Various Word Processing Packages also allow us to design and include various pictures, graphs and charts in the text. With personal computers becoming quite affordable, their quality of being versatile and with the use of e-mail, office correspondance has improved a lot. Desktop Publishing has been revolutionized and the quality of results is astonishing.
Many softwares have been developed till now for Word Processing, e.g., Wordstar, Word Perfect, Page Maker, MS Word etc. Out of these, the most popular is MS Word (Microsoft Office) alongwith PowerPoint and Excel packages. This software needs a windows platform to work in. In this book MS Office 2010 has been used.

Input: Information and programs are entered into the computer through Input devices such as the keyboard, disks, or through other computers via network connections or modems connected to the Internet. The input device also retrieves information off disks.
Output: Output Devices displays information on the screen (monitor) or the printer and sends information to other computers. They also display messages about what errors may have occurred and brings up message or dialog box asking for more information to be input. The output device also saves information on the disk for future use.
Processing: The CPU or central processing unit is sometimes called the Control Unit and directs the operation of the input and output devices. The Coprocessor or the Arithmetic-Logic Unit does arithmetic and comparisons. The memory or RAM temporarily stores information (files and programs) while you are using or working on them. The BIOS or basic input/output system controls the dialogue between the various devices. Keyboard Layout and Data Entry
ENTER or RETURN – Moves the cursor down one line and to the left margin. Enter also process commands such as choosing an option in a dialog (message) boxes and submitting a form.
DEL or DELETE – Deletes the character at cursor and/or characters to the right of the cursor and all highlighted (or selected) text.
BKSP or BACKSPACE – Deletes the character to the left of cursor and all hightlighted text.
SPACE BAR – Moves the cursor one space at a time to the right SHIFT KEY – Use the shift keys to type capital letters and to type the upper character on keys with two characters on them
CAPS LOCK – Locks the keyboard so it types capital letters (a light goes on when caps lock is on)
TAB – Moves the cursor five spaces to the right (number of spaces are usually adjustable). Tab moves to the next field in a form or table (Shift-Tab for previous field).
ESC or ESCAPE - Cancels a menu or dialog box
ARROW KEYS – Moves the cursor around document without changing text FUNCTION KEYS or F KEYS – Access commands by themselves or in combination with the three command keys; CTRL, SHIFT, and ALT
