The most widely-accepted theme of the "The Road Not Taken" is that of making choices about the direction of one's life: whether to take an established, safe road, or a risky, more adventurous path. The speaker chooses the latter, saying of the decision to take the "road less traveled" as one that has "made all the difference." so in that case it is applicable to our lives.

When the swallow flies over the city, it sees the stark contrast of plenty and poverty. The beggars sitting at the gates of the rich men's houses. It flies into the dark lanes and sees the white faces of starving children. Under the archway of a bridge, it sees two little boys lying in each other's arms trying to keep themselves warm in the rain. It sees rich men celebrating happiness oblivious to the plight of the poor down the lane. The swallow goes back and tells the Prince about all it observes.

Sue was a true friend of Johnsy. She loved her genuinely; when the doctor told her she had very grim chances, she was deeply in pain. She wanted her friend to get well; she was deeply attached to her. She made nutritious food for Johnsy and served her timely meals. She looked after her lovingly and caringly.
When Sue came to know about Johnsy’s obsessive belief about the last leaf, she shared it with Mr. Berhman. The master painter painted the leaf on the vine on the wall that gave courage to Johnsy and she convalesced.
Sue was a great friend; Johnsy was lucky she had such a friend as Sue.

Abdul Kalam wanted to leave Rameswaram to study at the district headquarters in Ramanathapuram. His father said that he knew he had to go away to grow. He gave the example of a seagull and said that a seagull flies across the sun alone and without a nest.

In the kingdom of fools is a Kannada folktale from A.K. Ramanujan’s Folk Tales from India. It is about a kingdom which was run by the foolish king.
One day while seeking justice, a man approached the king. The man stated that the wall of man's house fell upon his brother while they were committing his ancient trade of theft and he died. The king being foolish thinks for compensation for the criminal. Upon much thinking, the king decided the real culprit to be the merchant's father who is already dead. Now that the father is dead since the son inherited the property the king decided to punish the son.

In the story the Kingdom of Fools by AK Ramunujam, the Kingdom (state) of Fools’ means the state where people are not intelligent and wise, whereas in the state of fools people were intelligent and acted sensibly.
Explanation:
- In this story the king, his ministers and his advisers are fools. That means that they are not wise and intelligent. In their kingdom, The king and his minister did not want to run their kingdom like other normal kingdoms. Therefore, they decided to do something different. They started treating night as day and day as night.
- The king passed an order that everybody in the kingdom should work at night, and none should sleep at night. While, the farmers would have to do farming at night, the ones who were running businesses must do their business at night. As soon as the sun rose, everyone must go to sleep. If anybody disobeys the order, he/she would be punished with death.
