Your, real property is what you have in your hand. You are master of it and you use it in any way. The amount you have given to others is yours but you are not certain to get it. So be contented with what you have and live in the present. At this means that you must be practical and realistic. Hopes and dreams may transport you to green postures but do not depend on them. Tomorrow is shrouded in mystery and uncertainty. Do not stake your rupee in the hope of doubling it. Gambling may render you a pauper. So the money in your hand is worth the double of what you hope to get. Learn to be satisfied and contented with what you have in hand. Prosperity of other people makes you jealous and crazy. No use of grumbling as you can't come upon that prosperity. It is better to make most of your own resources. People spend their lifetime savings on lottery tickets to get rich over-night. They regret later on. The way to survive and thrive is to feel contented with what you have.

This write up about Maria Sharapova inspires us to remain determined and make sacrifices in order to fulfil our dreams. On 22 August 2005, Maria became the top seeded player in the world women’s tennis player rankings. She made great sacrifices to achieve her goal.
At the tender age of nine, she left her home in Siberia, Russia to get training in tennis. She went to Florida in USA with her father. Maria suffered a painful separation from her mother for a period of two years. She could not see her father too as he remained busy working, arranging funds for all her needs. She was bullied by her seniors and being a foreigner, she had to suffer all that patiently. Maria did not feel depressed, rather she was prepared for greater insults too in order to achieve her aim.
Her mantra for success is to work hard and face the toughest competition. Although she was trained in the US, she considers herself to be a Russian and is wiling to represent Russia at the Olympics too

Today we had maths exam and I was super nervous prior to the exam.It was the most difficult exam I ever wrote.Anxiety was eating me up before the exam and it was suffocating me.Even after all,Surprisngly I knew the answer to all the problems and hopefully I did all the caluculations correctly.Even though most of my friends found the paper pretty difficult I knew everything. All though I wrote everything I am still a bit panicked about my results.Gosh! I'm already worried about my results! Although maths is not that difficult but caluculating in a given time and that too about 30 questions is tiring as well as confusing at the same time.Maths is not as hard as people think it is all it needs is a bit of attention and common sense with quick thinking skills.Anway,A lot for today.Hopefully my exams wll be over soon.I just can't wait to enjoy a sunny summer ahead.Enough for today.Bye!

Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam was born on 15 October, 1931 to a Tamil Muslim family in Rameswaram, then in Madras Presidency in British India and now in Tamil Nadu. His father's name was Jainulabdeen, who was a boat owner and imam of a local mosque. His mother's name was Ashiamma, who was a housewife.
Dr. Abdul Kalam, was very closely bonded with his family, especially his mother. Hailing from a very poor family, his mother made many sacrifices to raise the children. Hence Kalam has written poems depicting his mother's pains at many times. In this particular poem he describes as to how loved he is to his mother, than his rest of brothers and sisters, who envy him for being loved more. He says he was only 10 years old and he remembers very clearly how she wept in the night, grieving about the pains his son has to endure everyday.
Only his mother understood the beautiful world of the poet, which he weaved around himself, and only she knew his pains. And he was consoled only in the lap of her mother, when she moved her caring hands on his head, all his pains were washed away. His mother gave him constant hope and strength in times of need and she was the only source of encouragement to him.
The author remembers that all that he is today is because of his mother, for the courage and perseverance that he possesses has been bestowed on him only by his mother. And finally the author hopes that he meets his dead mother once again on the great Judgement day.

Tommy called the printed book a waste because the text written in that book did not move, instead they stood still and never changed and the pages were also crinkly.

Tommy describes the old kind of teachers as living human beings who did not live in the house. Instead, they taught the students in a special building. They taught the children in groups and gave them homework.

The title 'A house is not a home' is apt in relation to the story. In the story, the author's house gets completely destroyed in a fire. Due to this, he and his mother had to take refuge at his grandparents' home and later in a rented an apartment. The places where the author lived after the fire incident cannot be called a home. A home is a place where one gets comfort, coziness and the joy of longing. One can find true happiness and comfort within the premises of home. On the other hand, a house is without these sentiments and emotions. House is just a confined place made-up of the four walls. It can never be matched to a home.
There were merely places where he took shelter. Home is where one has comfort, security, and freedom of doing whatever one wishes to. Moreover, these places were without the belongings and things which the author loved.
As one has a sense of belonging to his home, it cannot be fulfilled by a place where one takes temporary shelter. Hence, the title of the story 'A House is Not a Home' is justified.

Packing turned out to be a longer job than the narrator had anticipated. As he finished packing the bag, he sat on it and strapped it but just then Harris commented that he had forgotten to put his boots in. Jerome had to open the bag again and pack in the boots, then he remembered he might have forgotten to put in his toothbrush and it was an essential part of his travelling luggage. So he embarked on a hunt to get his toothbrush, packing and unpacking his bag until he found it. Chaos reigned supreme in this comedy of packing and he eventually found his toothbrush in a boot. He repacked the bag once more and just then George wondered if the soap was in. The entire process was repeated and only then Jerome realized that he had packed in his tobacco pouch. At last, George and Harris were left to finish up the rest of the packing, mainly crockery and food resources. They were so inept at it that they started by breaking a cup, then Harris went on to packing a strawberry jam on top of a tomato and squashed it and when it was George's turn, he trod on butter. A simple task as packing escalated into a comedy of errors until they were absolutely tired and distraught with their inefficiency.

The poet says that men from other countries have the same requirements as his own countrymen by saying that they enjoy the same sunlight, breathe the same air and drink the same water. Not only this, they also work hard to earn a living. They too eat when their harvest is plentiful during times of peace and starve during war.
