The child saw a number of things on his way to the fair. He saw toys at the shops. Then he saw a flowering mustard field. He saw dragon flies and butterflies fluttering their wings. He also saw little insects and worms along the footpath.
The child lagged behind because he was fascinated by all the things coming on his way to the fair. He followed the dragon flies and butterflies with his gaze and tried to catch them. As he entered the grove, a shower of young flowers fell upon him. He stopped and tried to collect all of them. When he heard the dove, he ran in wild capers round the banyan tree looking for it. Therefore, he lags behind.

Dear Sir
Sub : Switch to Solar power
I wanted to bring to your attention the case of the rising electricity bills in Delhi. Owing to the severe scorching heat most households are using air-conditioners through the day and night. Coupled with the other daily usages, the monthly bill is hitting the roofs.
I strongly feel that people should switch over to Solar energy as an alternative immediately. It is a renewable source of energy, environment friendly and a great way to reduce the bills.
Kindly take this issue up in your daily and encourage people to make this transition. We look forward to getting like wise suggestions and possibilities of solutions to the every day problems of citizens.
Yours sincerely
Ridhima/Rencho

A Kind Deed
Away from the crowds of cities, in a far flung village, lived a boy named Ravi. Ravi became an orphan when he was still a baby. One day, an old woman came to his hut and said that he should come along with her and she would change his life. As Ravi was living all alone and there was no one to take care of him, he agreed to go along with the old woman. She took him to her house. She asked him to take his bath and then gave him something to eat. Since her husband was the Principal of a school, she spoke to him about Ravi. She got the boy admitted in the school. And after school Ravi would come over to the old woman's house and help her in the household chores. Ravi was good at studies and also was very good in athletics. The school encouraged his desire and he became a national level athletics champion. The old woman had seen his potential in running and this was the reason she had got him to her house. It was because of the old lady that Ravi's talent was encouraged and that it did not go for a waste.

I saw a huge crowd on the middle of the road.I rushed towards the crowd and was shocked to see that a lying on the road with full of blood spread over 1meter from. I think some vehicle hit him and ran away. Im helpless because of that terrific scene and also afraid going to the man for helping him neither anybody of the people sorrounded there.
Then a uncle in our apartments, to whom i used to scold for his over reacting for small situation, came forward and with help someone took the man to the hospital in his car, then i felt guilty and from then i respect the uncle and elder people

He saw a lady badly hit by a car on the road with the car driver dead. He closely looked at the lady and found out that she was his mother. He ran towards the lady and cried bitterly. He called the police and ambulance. Soon the ambulance reached and his mother was shifted to a nearby city hospital. She was bleeding a lot so the doctors took her to the ICU. The main theme in this story is selflessness and sacrifice. When Behrman finds out that Johnsy is convinced that she will die once the last ivy leaf falls, Behrman selflessly gets out in the rain and snow in the middle of the night to paint an ivy leaf on the brick.

The story is based on the theme that life is precious and faith and hope should never be lost. We come across many hindrances in life and they should be overcome by fighting back in high spirits. Depression can lead to disaster even when the situation is not bad. Another theme that runs through the story is that devoted friendship can be succour during times of crisis. A minor theme of the story is the importance of art in human lives. The old painter knowingly sacrifices his life in his urge to create a masterpiece.

Of the three, Jerome is the best packer because he knew how to arrange things in order. Though, he often forgets to pack certain things or gets confused, he knows what to keep first and what to keep last. On the other hand, Harris and George create a mess all around. Harris packs the strawberry jam on top of a tomato and smashes it. George treads on the butter. He gets it off from his slipper and puts it in the kettle. He puts it down on a chair and Harris sits on it. It sticks to him and then they look for it all over the room. In this way they make everything such a mess.

One Sunday afternoon, the author noticed a strange smell. Then he saw smoke pouring in through the seams of the ceiling and filling the room very quickly. They could barely see anything. By the time they ran out into the front yard, the roof was already engulfed in flames and was spreading very quickly.
His mother ran back into the house. She had brought out a small metal box full of important documents. She wanted to bring out important things from the house one by one. She was in a ‘crazed state’.

The children must understand their parents in true sense, because first of all we have to remember one thing that our life on this planet started/initiated because of them. Parents sacrifice their all to provide for their children. Children can leave their parents in their old age but parents never leave their wards even if the kids are wrong or disabled. The understanding between the parents and children is essential also because it affects their emotional and mental and social development as well. Children need their parents because no matter how much successful they become if they don't have their Parents' guidance they can't grow into a complete and responsible person in the society. If the understanding between them is lacking the children will face problems later on in life like relationship problems, divorce etc. Hence, Its absolutely essential.
