Question 1: लेखिका ने अपनी नानी को कभी देखा भी नहीं फिर भी उनके व्यक्तित्व से वे क्यों प्रभावित थीं?
उत्तर: लेखिका ने अपनी नानी के बारे में घर के अन्य लोगों से बहुत कुछ सुना था। लेखिका की नानी अपने पति के जीवन में किसी भी प्रकार का दखल नहीं देती थीं। लेकिन वह घर की चारदीवारी में भी रहकर अपने ढ़ंग से जीवन जीती थीं। जब लेखिका की माँ की शादी की बात आई तो उनकी नानी ने अपनी बात बड़े ही अधिकार से मनवा लीं। इसलिए लेखिका अपनी नानी के व्यक्तित्व से प्रभावित थीं।

अलंकार(Figure of speech) की परिभाषा
काव्य की शोभा में वृद्धि करने वाले साधनों को अलंकार कहते हैं। अलंकार से काव्य में रोचकता, चमत्कार और सुन्दरता उत्पन्न होती है। आचार्य रामचन्द्र शुक्ल ने अलंकार.को काव्य की आत्मा ठहराया है।
अलंकार–काव्य की शोभा बढ़ानेवाले तत्त्वों को ‘अलंकार’ कहते हैं।
अलंकार के भेद–प्रधान रूप से अलंकार के दो भेद माने जाते हैं–शब्दालंकार तथा अर्थालंकार। इन दोनों भेदों का संक्षिप्त विवेचन इस प्रकार है
अलंकार के भेद
अलंकार के तीन भेद होते है:-
- शब्दालंकार – Shabd Alankar
- अर्थालंकार – Arthalankar
- उभयालंकार – Ubhaya Alankar
