If there are no restrictions on the power of the elected representatives the leaders might misuse the powers given to them. The Indian Constitution provides safe guards against the misuse of powers by our political leaders

Lakshika Tayal 6 years, 3 months ago

Ministers would misuse it There would be injustice Rights would be voilated Situation like british period

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 3 months ago

If there were no restrictions on the power of elected representatives then these representatives can misuse their powers and this will lead to injustice to the citizen of our country. It may lead to a dictatorship where the ruler can do anything he wishes to without any restrictions. Unrestricted power may eventually lead to the violation of people's rights for fulfilling selfish motives.

A democratic country needs a Constitution, because the Constitution serves several purposes. First, it lays out certain ideals that form the basis of the kind of country that we as citizens aspire or live in. Or, put another way, a Constitution tells us what the fundamental nature of our society is. A country is usually made up of different communities of people who share certain beliefs but may not necessarily agree on all issues. A Constitution help serve as a set of rules and principles that all persons in a country can agree upon as the basis of the way in which they want the country to be governed. This includes not only, the type of government but also an agreement on certain ideals that they all believe the country should uphold.

Permanent settlement system means that they collect revenue frome everyone and the zamindars are the one who collect it. And once the revenue amount is fixed it cannot be increased in the future. Whereas in Mahalwari system was devised by Holt Mackenzie and this time the village headman (Mahal) collected the revenue. This time the revenue amount was not fixed permanently as the company wanted more revenue resources.

For 1st buffalo:

SP= Rs 20,000

Profit = 5%

   CP =

       =

       = Rs

       = Rs

For 2nd buffalo:

SP = Rs 20,000

Loss = 10%

 CP =

     = Rs

     = Rs

Now,        Overall  SP = Rs 2  20,0000

                              = Rs 40,000

           Overall CP =

                         = Rs

                         = Rs

                         = Rs

                         = Rs 41269.84

Now,               CP > SP

∴              Overall loss = Rs (41269.84 - 40000)

                                = Rs 1269.84

we are given that the two zeroes of given polynomial are (3 + {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex}) and (3 - {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex}).
The given quadratic polynomial is
p(x) = 2x4 - 11x3 + 7x+ 13x - 7
Sum of (3 + {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex}) and (3 - {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex}) = (3 + {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex}) + (3 - {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex}) = 6
Product of (3 + {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex}) and (3 - {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex})  = (3 + {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex})(3 - {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex})  = 9 - 2 = 7
Polynomial whose zeros are 3 + {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex} and 3 - {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex}  is
x2 - (sum of zeros)x + (Product of zeros) = x2 - 6x + 7
Now we Divide p(x) by x2 - 6x + 7 as:

Therefore, Quotient = 2x2 + x - 1 and remainder = 0.
Other two zeros of polynomial p(x) are also the zeros of q(x)
i.e.,  q(x) = 2x2 + x - 1 = 2x2 + 2x - x - 1  (by splitting the midddle term)
= 2x(x + 1) - (x + 1) = (x + 1 ) (2x - 1)
In order to find the values of x, put(x) = 0
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} (x + 1) (2x - 1) = 0
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} Either x + 1 = 0 or 2x - 1 = 0
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} Either x = -1 or x = {tex}\frac{1}{2}{/tex}
{tex}\therefore{/tex} The zeros of given polynomial p(x) are
{tex}\frac{1}{2}{/tex}, -1, (3 + {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex}) and (3 - {tex}\sqrt{2}{/tex})
