A galaxy is a sprawling space system which is composed of stars, dust, interstellar gas, stellar remnants, and dark matter and all held together by gravity. The word ‘Galaxy’ is termed from the Greek word ‘galaxies‘. It is tough to tell how big the universe is! The universe has a large number of galaxies, and each carries millions of stars which are bounded by a unique force known as gravitational force. There are approximately 70,000 million stars in the universe. The solar system where our earth exists is in Milky Way Galaxy.

A democratic country means where all individuals will get equal rights, So if there will be no rule people will get out of control

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 8 months ago

A democratic country needs a Constitution, because the Constitution serves several purposes. First, it lays out certain ideals that form the basis of the kind of country that we as citizens aspire or live in. Or, put another way, a Constitution tells us what the fundamental nature of our society is. A country is usually made up of different communities of people who share certain beliefs but may not necessarily agree on all issues. A Constitution help serve as a set of rules and principles that all persons in a country can agree upon as the basis of the way in which they want the country to be governed. This includes not only, the type of government but also an agreement on certain ideals that they all believe the country should uphold.

The addition follows associative property i.e. regardless of how numbers are parenthesized the final sum of the numbers will be same. Associative property of addition states that:

(x+y)+z = x+(y+z)

Let us say, we want to add 5+10+4. It can be seen that the answer is 19. Now, let us group the numbers; put 5 and 10 in the bracket. We get,

⇒ (5+10)+4 = 15+4 = 19

Rule for the associative property of multiplication is:

(xy) z = x (yz)

On solving 5×3×2, we get 30 as product. Now as in addition, let’s group the terms:

⇒ (5 × 3) × 2 = 15 × 2 = 30         (BODMAS rule)

After regrouping,

⇒ 5 × (3 × 2) = 5 × 6 = 30

Preparation of soil is the first step before growing of crop. It helps to turn the soil and loosen it to allow the roots to penetrate deep into it. The loosening of the soil helps in the growth of several soil microbes, earthworms etc., which enrich the soil with humus and other essential nutrients

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 8 months ago

Soil is prepared before sowing the seeds. The soil is loosened to increase the absorption of water and manures. Loosening of soil particles adds humus and nutrients in the soil that increases crop yields. Tilling or loosening the soil is done by ploughs which are pulled by a pair of bulls.

The distributive property of multiplication is:

  • Over addition: a(b + c) = ab + ac
    • -3/4 {2/3 + (-5/6)} = -3/4 {(4+(-5))/6} = (-3/4) x (-1/6) = 3/24 = 1/8
    • -3/4 {2/3 + (-5/6)} = -3/4 x 2/3 + (-3/4) x (-5/6) = -1/2 + 5/8 = (-4+5)/8 = 1/8
  • Over subtraction: a(b - c) = ab - ac
    • -3/4 {2/3 - 5/6} = -3/4 {(4-5)/6} = (-3/4) x (-1/6) = 3/24 = 1/8
    • -3/4 {2/3 - 5/6} = -3/4 x 2/3 - (-3/4) x 5/6 = -1/2 + 5/8 = (-4+5)/8 = 1/8

1. Afforestation: One of the best ways to conserve soil is to increase the area under forests. Undiscriminating trees cutting should be stopped and efforts should be made to plant trees in new areas. 20 to 25 per cent, as they say, is the minimum area of forest land for the whole country which is considered healthy for soil and water conservation. Nevertheless, it was raised to 33 per cent in the second five-year plan; the proportion being 20 per cent for the plains and 60 per cent for hilly and mountainous regions.
2. Checking Overgrazing:Grazing is very important. But overgrazing of forests and grasslands by animals, especially by herds and flocks of sheep, goats, should be properly checked. One can earmark separate grazing grounds. Alternate fodder crops should be grown in larger quantities.

3. Constructing Dams:One of the scientific methods to check soil erosion. Soil erosion which happens maximum by river floods can be avoided by constructing dams across the rivers. Water speed can be checked and it considerably saves soil from erosion.

Loss of the soil it refers to the exposure of the inner layer of the soil to the year. This is a sign of the the soil pollution.

  • As a result of extreme amount of deforestation the soil becomes loose as a result of which the soil gets blown away.
  • Since the top most layer of the soil is the most fertile part of the soil if this part of the soil is washed away by wind or by any water source then it hampers the cultivation of plant. As a result of this deforestation should be prevented as much as possible.
