Yes you are write yogita this is important source of the history of the period...?

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 6 months ago

Surveys conducted by the British are an important source of the history of the period because the British carried out detailed surveys of various regions and the practices of people in India during their rule. They surveyed the soil, cropping pattern, flora and fauna. They also began to conduct the census of the country to record details of the population and their caste and religious affiliations. These surveys form an important part of history as they shed light on the country’s history apart from demographic changes which have been experienced over a period of time.

Coal and petroleum are formed as a result of degradation of ancient plant life which lived millions of years ago. These dead plant matter started to pile up, eventually forming a substance called peat. Over time, heat and pressure from geological processes transformed these materials into coal. Since these are formed from essentially fossils, they are also known as fossil fuels.

The ratio of Hari's and Harry's present ages is 5:7
So, let their ages be 5x and 7x
After 4 years their ages will be in ratio 3:4
Therefore,(5x+4)/(7x+4)=3/4
or, 4(5x+4)=3(7x+4)
or, 20x+16=21x+12
or, 16−12=21x−20x
or, 4=1x
or, x=4
Therefore, present age of Hari = 5x=(5×4)=20 years.
Present age of Harry =7x=(7×4)=28 years
The sum of their age is 28+20=48years

Cylinders and prisms are alike on only one account, Both are solids. That is that is common between them. A cylinder is an object of revolution while a prism is not. A cylinder has 2 flat ends and a curved surface while a prism has two polygons for the two ends and the rest are plain rectangular faces. Both of the prisms and cylinders have their base and top as congruent faces and parallel to each other. Also, a prism becomes a cylinder as the number of sides of its base becomes larger and larger. Draw the front view, side view and top view of the given objects.
