Cultivators are used to stir and pulverize the soil, either before planting (to aerate the soil and prepare a smooth, loose seedbed) or after the crop has begun growing to kill weeds. Unlike a harrow, which disturbs the entire surface of the soil, cultivators are designed to disturb the soil in careful patterns, sparing the crop plants but disrupting the weeds.

Cultivators can be used instead of the hoe.

Vaccines contain dead or weakened microbes of a particular disease. When a vaccine is introduced into a healthy body, the body fights and kills them by producing suitable antibodies. These antibodies remain in the body and protect it when the microbe enters the body again.

The first main character that we came across in the story is Bepin Babu. Bepin Choudhury is an old man who had no children. He lived a lonely life after his wife’s demise. He was a good employee in a reputed firm at a responsible post. But he had a few friends. He had a keen interest in reading books. He never wasted his time in idle chatting. We also see that Bepin Choudhury was an innocent man. He easily got trapped into the prank played by his friend Chunilal. So much so that he eventually believed that he had indeed lost his memory and might land in an asylum.

The Third Carnatic War (1756-1763) was a decisive win for the English. It established the English supremacy over the French in Indian Subcontinent. At the end, a treaty-Treaty of Paris was signed, which allowed the French to have their factories in India but forbade them from administering them. Chandernagore and Pondicherry were returned to French but they couldn't have any troops garrisoned.
