Land management is the process of managing the use and development (in both urban and rural settings) of land resources. Land resources are used for a variety of purposes which may include organic agriculture, reforestation, water resource management and eco-tourism projects. Land provides an environment for agricultural production, but it also is an essential condition for improved environmental management, including source/sink functions for greenhouse gasses, recycling of nutrients, amelioration and filtering of pollutants, and transmission and purification of water as part of the hydrologic cycle. The objective of sustainable land management (SLM)1 is to harmonise the complimentary goals of providing environmental, economic, and social opportunities for the benefit of present and future generations, while maintaining and enhancing the quality of the land (soil, water and air) resource (Smyth and Dumanski, 1993). Sustainable land management is the use of land to meet changing human needs (agriculture, forestry, conservation), while ensuring long-term socioeconomic and ecological functions of the land.

Natural numbers that are squares of other natural numbers are called perfect square or square number.

For example;

We know that; 1 = 1²; 4 = 2²; 9 = 3²; 16 = 4²; 25 = 5² and so on.

Thus 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, etc., are perfect squares.

All gifts of nature are resources in one way or the other. As we already know that fossil fuels, water, wind, sunlight, forests, animals, minerals, valuable metals and even tides are the gifts of nature that we use as resources. Even humans are resources as they with their innovative technology add utility to the resources. For example, iron cannot be used until and unless it is extracted from its ore.Everything that exist in nature is a resource. While the utility of many resources are known to the humans, there might be many resources whose utility is still not discovered. For example, hydrogen is a gas which can prove to be an important resources in the future with the help of further technological advancement.

8x-2=-9+7x Send 7x to the left hand side (LHS) we get the equation: 8x-2-7x=-9 Now send -2 to the right hand side (RHS) we get equation: 8x-7x=-9+2 So, 1x=-7 Therefore, x=-7/1 =-7

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 4 months ago

8x - 2= -9 + 7x

8x - 7x = -9 + 2
x = -7

We have to know about force as it is a greater term for exam... Force is a push or pull on a body or an object....There must be an interaction between two body for force to act .Let take some examples like hitting ball in cricket,kicking ball in football, opening or closing the door, pushing a car,suppose some persons doing these activities then can you guess what are they doing,yes they are applying their force to do this...interaction is a kind of action in which one objects or body interacts with other for applying of force....with out interaction you cannot apply force on any thing...on the basis of interaction force can be characterised as contact and non contact force...contact force are those force which can be apply only by touching the objects and non contact is without touching.....we can take example all thing we are doing that are contact force because every time we are applying our force by touching and gravitional force or electrostatic force and magnetic force are non contact forces...you can write about electrostatic force in exam as:- Take two balloons ,two refills and a wollen cloth..rough them in wollen cloth and take two balloons closer two each other you can see that they are trying to repel with each other and if you take two refills closer to each other then also they will repel means they don't want to come together and finally if you take one refills and one ballon then they will attract with each other...atoms are two types Electrons=- Protons=+ By doing the experiment we can Know that like charges --,++ repel and unlike charges-+,+- attract And attraction or reputation is nothing but a force This force carried out by static charges is called electrostatic charges..... Take a magnet and and an iron nail keep together they will try to attract and if you move the first magnet about one orientation and keep another magnet close to it you can see that they will repel... Like electrostatic force as like charge and unlike charge magnetic force have poles as like poles and unlike poles... Poles are north and south poles... Above results like poles repel with each other and unlike poles attract with each other.This force carried out by magnet is called magnetic force Last is gravitational force and please threw a stone in the air,you can see that the stone is not going up that is coming down towards the earth and that force of pulling any objects towards it by the earth is called gravitational force . The removal of soil by running water, wind and glacier is called social erosion. Topsoil is the uppermost layer of the Earth's surface layers. Top soil is soft and light and can be carried away easily. Water and wind cause the topsoil to be removed. This process of carrying of top soil by wind and water is called as soil erosion.
