First we have to take two metals plate which would be one on which you have to deposit and 2nd from which metal you have to transfer then connect 1st matel plate on negative terminal and 2nd to possitive terminal then the metal plate on positive terminal would get transfer to the plate on nagetive terminal Eg:- take two metals one is copper and 2nd would be a rusted copper and take the copper sulphate solution and then connect a copper plate on nagetive terminal and connect the rusted copper plate on positive terminal and it would get started decomposition.
