Static frictional force is a self-regulating force. i.e., static friction will at all times be equivalent and opposite to the force applied. The maximum force of static friction is not dependent on the area of contact. The maximum force of static friction is comparative to the normal force i.e., if the normal force increases, the maximum external force that the object can endure without moving, also increases.

Answer.Answer. As a result of the rebellion of 1857, the British changed their policies. Following are the important changes that the British made: (i) The powers of the East India Company, was transferred to the British Crown in order to ensure a more responsible management of Indian affairs. (ii) The Governor-General of India was given the title of Viceroy, that is, a personal representative of the Crown. (iii) All ruling chiefs of the country were assured that their territory would never be annexed in future. They were allowed to pass on their kingdoms to their heirs, including adopted son. But they had to acknowledge the British queen as their Sovereign Paramount. (iv) It was decided that the proportion of Indian soldiers in the army would be reduced and the number of European soliders would be increased. It was also decided that instead of recruiting soldiers from Awadh, Bihar, Central India and South India more soldiers would be recruited from among the Gorkhqs, Sikhs and Pathans. (v) The British decided to respect the customary religions and social practices of the people in India.

There are 3 types of resources. They are Human resource, Human made resource and Natural resource...

Yogita Ingle 7 years, 3 months ago

Resources are usually classified into two types,  natural and human made
Natural Resource: Resources which are obtained from nature are called natural resources. Some of the natural resources can be used directly, while for using some others we need the help of some technologies .
Human Made Resources: When a natural resource undergoes drastic change by human intervention, it becomes human-made resource. For example; iron ore is processed to make steel and hence steel is a man-made resource. Buildings, bridges, railways, machines, etc. are examples of human-made resources. Technology is also a human-made resource.
