Deforestation leads to soil erosion; as the top soli get eroded the lower hardy & rocky surface with less humus gets exposed . However ; continued soil erosion can lead to desertification . As the hard & rocky soil can't absorb water thus deforestation leads to decrease in water holding capacity of the soil .

A free charge is not bound to the nucleus and can have any energy from zero. Further, the energy possessed by it is always kinetic in nature. A bound charge, on the other hand, is bound to the nucleus and can have only quantized energies. About 300 millions years ago the earth had dense forest in low dying wetland areas . Due to natural processes, like flooding, these forest got buried under the soil. As more soil deposited over them,they were compressed. The temperature also rose as they sank deeper and deeper . Under high pressure and high temperatures, dead plants got slowly converted to coal. As coal contains mainly carbon , the slow process of conversation of dead vegetation into coal is called carbonisation.

Coal is formed by the anaerobic thermal degradation of dead vegetation deep inside the earth. Wood under the effect of high temperature, high pressure and in the absence of air gets converted to coal through a number of steps. This process is called carbonisation

Before britishers arrived the villages were not in so good condition the income of peasants farmers and many small people donot earn very high income they have to pay revenue more than half of there income and they have to pay fixed revenue in any condition. The rich people like merchants bankers etc.were in good condition sometimes they were appointed by kings. The rich had no problem but poor was suffered. In the rule of aurangzeb it was very difficult for hindu farmers to survive.
