Fertility refers to the natural ability of a man or woman to produce an offspring. Infertility occurs when there are biological factors affecting this ability. Infertility is usually diagnosed by a doctor when a couple has been trying to conceive for 12 months or more. The main symptom of infertility is the inability to get pregnant. A menstrual cycle that's too long (35 days or more), too short (less than 21 days), irregular or absent can mean that you're not ovulating. There may be no other outward signs or symptoms.

The image formed by a plane mirror is always virtual (meaning that the light rays do not actually come from the image), upright, and of the same shape and size as the object it is reflecting. A virtual image is a copy of an object formed at the location from which the light rays appear to come.
The characteristics of an image formed in a plane mirror:
- image formed is virtual ie image cannot be projected or focused on a screen
- the distance of the image ‘behind’ the mirror is the same as the distance of the object in front of the mirror
- the size of the image formed is the same as the size of the object
- the image is laterally inverted i.e. left-right reversal of the orientation of the image
- altitude/orientation is always upright.

Key Differences Between Subsistence and Commercial Farming
- Subsistence farming is a system of farming that aims at growing that much amount of crops that fulfils all or almost all the needs of the farmer and his family, with little to no excess produce for marketing. Commercial Farming is the farming method in which crop production and cattle rearing are performed with an intention to sell the produce in the market.
- Due to high labour inputs are required in subsistence farming, it is a labour-intensive technique. On the contrary, in commercial farming, huge capital investment is required, and that is why it is a capital-intensive technique.
- Subsistence farming is performed in a small area only. As against, a large area is required to perform commercial farming.
- To increase productivity, manure is added to the soil, in subsistence farming. In contrast, in commercial farming, the yield of crops can be increased by high doses of modern inputs, i.e. high yielding variety seeds, fertilizers, insecticides, pesticides, and so forth.
- In subsistence farming, mainly food grains like wheat and rice, fruits and vegetables are grown. Conversely, in commercial farming mainly cash crops and cereals are grown.
- While subsistence farming highly depends on the monsoon and simple methods of irrigation, commercial farming relies on modern irrigation methods such as surface irrigation, drip system, sprinkler, etc.
- In subsistence farming, traditional methods of cultivation are used, whereas machines are used for the purpose of cultivating the land, in commercial farming.
