If two or more forces act on a body simultaneously, the the total force on the body is called the net force or the resultant force. The net force is the vector sum of all the forces that act upon an object, i.e., it is the sum of all the forces, taking into account the fact that a force is a vector and two forces of equal magnitude and opposite direction will cancel each other out.

Let Kanwar Present age x year
After 12 years Knawar age is = x + 12 years
4 years age Kanwar age was x - 4 years
x + 12 = 3(x - 4)
⇒ x + 12 = 3x - 12
⇒ x - 3x = -12 - 12
⇒ - 2x = - 24
⇒ 2x = 24
⇒ x = 24/2 = 12 years
Hence Knawar present age is 12 years.

CP of the cycle = Rs 700
Overhead charges = Rs 50
Total CP of the cycle =700 + 50 = Rs 750
Profit % = 5 %
Profit % = [(SP - CP) / CP] x 100
5 = [(SP - 750) / 750] x 100
5/100 = [(SP - 750) / 750]
(5 x 750) /100 = (SP - 750)
75 / 2 = SP - 750
SP = (75/2) + 750
SP = 787.5
Therefore, the selling price of the cycle = Rs 787.5

The British also tried to win back people’s loyalty. Rewards were announced for loyal landholders. The loyal landlords were allowed to enjoy their traditional rights over the land. The rebels were told that if they submitted to the British, they would remain safe and their claims and rights would not be denied. But there was a condition that they had not killed any white people.
