When the larynx grows larger during puberty, it sticks out at the front of the throat. This is what's called an Adam's apple. Everyone's larynx grows during puberty, but a girl's larynx doesn't grow as much as a boy's does. That's why boys have Adam's apples. Most girls don't have Adam's apples, but some do. It's no big deal either way.

In the British territories in the south a new system was devised that came to be known as the Ryotwari system. It was tried on a small-scale by Captain Alexander Read. Afterwards, Thomas Munro, who was the Governor of Madras, developed this system which gradually extended all over south India.
In the south there were no traditional zamindars. Hence, the settlement was made directly with the cultivators or ryots who had tilled the land for generations. Their fields were separately surveyed before the revenue assessment was made.

Amoeba can change its shape with the help of pseudopodia that are projections of its body. The pseudopodia help the Amoeba to capture its food and move from one place to another.
Amoeba  changes its shape and forms pseudopodia (false feet) to move in any direction to engulf the food. When it encounters water, pseudopodia helps in floating. Thus, they change their shape for engulfing the food and for movement.

The increase in the volume of water in the cylinder is due to the volume of the metal. This means that you can figure out the volume of the metal by looking at the volume occupied by the water + metal and at the volume occupied by the water alone in the cylinder. For a given mass and volume, how much physical space a material takes up, of an object or substance, the density remains constant at a given temperature and pressure. The equation for this relationship is ρ = m / V in which ρ (rho) is density, m is mass and V is volume, making the density unit kg/m3.
