Mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell because they supply power (energy) to all the cell of the body.
All living cells have mitochondria (cell organelle), are responsible for producing energy (called ATP) that the cell needs to function.
They are like power stations in our bodies, supplying energy to all cells for proper functioning.
If our cells do not have energy, then the tissues or body organs that are made up of cells do not work properly, in the same way that if power stations do not produce enough energy for the country there will be areas of blackout, where parts of the country cannot function.

Nitrogen is used to make ammonia. Medical samples containing, for example blood, viruses for vaccinations and semen, can be stored for long periods if kept cool in liquid nitrogen.
All of the major uses for argon are related to the production, processing and fabrication of metals.
Liquid helium, with its very low boiling point of 4 K, has become very important in cooling superconductor magnets, used, for example, in MRI scanners for medical diagnosis.

Metals: Metals are lustrous, sonorous, ductile, and are good conductor of heat and electricity. Most of the metals are available as solid at room temperature; except mercury. Sodium and potassium are so soft that they can be cut with knife.
Non-metals: Non-metals are no-lustrous, non-sonorous, non-ductile, and are bad conductor of heat and electricity. Non-metals are available in all the three states of matter.
