Let the radius of the sphere be r.
Then surface area of the sphere ={tex}4\pi r^2{/tex}
New radius of the sphere ={tex}r\over2{/tex}
∴ New surface area of the sphere ={tex}4\pi({r\over2})^2=\pi r^2{/tex}
∴ Decrease in surface area ={tex}4\pi r^2-\pi r^2{/tex}
{tex}3\pi r^2={3\over4}{(4\pi r^2)}{/tex}
={tex}3\over4{/tex}(surface area of the original sphere).

Hi there! We breathe a mixture of gases known as air. But when this mixture of gases goes into our body in our blood we have haemoglobin which only extracts oxygen which travels into our body and the other gases we exhale. Long story short we do breathe a mixture of gases but we can respire only oxygen and carbon monoxide which is a poisonous gas(you will read it in higher classes). Thanks!

The development of forests robbed the Adivasis of their natural territory and livelihood and turned them into marginal and powerless communities.
The Adivasis are portrayed negatively as exotic, primitive and backward people and are represented through colourful costumes and headgears. This has led to the marginalization of this community in modern India.
