Because wood and plastic are insulator which does not conduct heat

Yogita Ingle 7 years, 2 months ago

Utensils are mainly made up of metals that are good conductor of heat and if the handles are also made up of metals they will also absorb heat and when we pick up a utensil by its handle, it can hurt us or we might have burns. So handles of utensils are made up of wood or plastic.

(1) Coke: contains 98 % carbon. It is porous, tough, black and the purest form of coal. Like charcoal, it Is a good fuel and burns without smoke. It is largely employed as a reducing agent in the extraction of metals from their ores. It is also used in making fuel gases like water gas and producer gas.
(2) Coal tar (liquid): Coal tar is a mixture of different carbon compounds. It thick, black liquid with unpleasant smell. The fractional distillation of coal tar gives many chemical substances which are used in the preparation of dyes, explosives, paints, synthetics fibers, drugs, and pesticides. Some of these chemical substances are benzene, toluene, phenol and aniline. Naphthalene balls used to repel moth and other insects are also obtained from coal tar.
(3) Coal Gas: Coal gas is mainly a mixture of hydrogen, methane and carbon monoxide. The gases present in coal gas are combustible and hence, it is an excellent fuel. It has high calorific value. It was used for lighting houses, factories and streets in Mumbai until 1950. It was also used for cooling earlier.

Cng stands for compressed natural gas

Yogita Ingle 7 years, 2 months ago

CNG stands for Compressed Natural Gas.
Since CNG is a clean burning fuel, combusting it leaves little or no residue compared to gasoline or diesel. Thus, the damage to the pipes and tubes of the vehicle’s engine is greatly reduced.
There is also less particulate matter that can contaminate the motor oil. This results to longer periods in between maintenance procedures such as tune-ups and oil changes.
CNG also has a high ignition temperature of about 1163 degrees Fahrenheit and a flammability rating of approximately 5 to 15% gas in air. This reduces the risk of fire if and when a leak happens.
CNG is also lighter than air and will simply dissipate into the atmosphere in the case of leaks. Meanwhile, gasoline or diesel will pool in the ground when there is a leak which results to a very dangerous fire hazard.
Lastly, CNG is a non-toxic fuel that does not pose any danger of contamination to ground water.

Babies are made when special cells called sperm (produced by men) combine with cells called eggs (produced by women) in a process called fertilization. Each of these cells is produced by a process called meiosis which makes cells containing half the information of the parent. When a sperm cell joins with an egg, it's called fertilization. If a sperm cell does join up with your egg, the fertilized egg moves down the fallopian tube toward the uterus. It begins to divide into more and more cells, forming a ball as it grows.

White blood cells (leukocytes) are part of the immune system and have are responsible for tracking and killing pathogens such as bacteria. An important way white blood cells eliminate pathogens is by 'eating' them (pahgocytosis).
White blood cells circulate in the blood stream, but are usually required at the site of infection inside tissues. For this to happen, the white blood cells have to migrate through the walls of small blood vessels and have to be able to find their way in tissues (see image). This can only occur because the white blood cells are able to change shape .
