Those resources where we know the total availability of quantity and quality, are called the Actual Resources. These resources have been surveyed, their quality and quantity are determined and are currently in use. The help of advanced technologies is used to dig out these resources. Some examples of these resources are natural oil reserves of the Middle East, the hydroelectric power of Niagara Falls, iron ore deposits of Madhya Pradesh, petroleum and natural gas in West Asia and India’s Mumbai High, dark soils in Deccan plateau and rich coal deposits in Germany.

| Prokaryotes | Eukaryotes | |
| Cell and cell size | Always unicellular and the size lies in between 0.2- 2.0 micrometers in diameter | Mostly multi-cellular and the size lies in between 10 – 100 mm in diameter |
| Cell wall | Usually present; chemically complex in nature | When present, chemically simple in nature |
| Nucleus | Is absent | Is present |
| Ribosomes | These cells consist of ribosomes which are smaller in size and circular in shape when compared to the cells of eukaryotes. | The ribosomes of eukaryotes are larger in size and are linear in shape. |
| DNA arrangement | Circular in shape | Linear in shape |
| Mitochondria | Is absent | Is present |
| Cytoplasm | The cytoplasm in prokaryotes does not contain the endoplasmic reticulum | In this, the cytoplasm has the endoplasmic reticulum |
| Plasmids | Present in prokaryotes | Very rarely found in eukaryotes |
| Ribosome | small ribosomes. | large ribosomes. |
| Lysosome | In this, the lysosome, mesosome, and centrosome is absent | Mesosome, Lysosomes, and centrosomes are usually present in Eukaryotes |

The various tasks performed by a farmer to produce a good crop are called agricultural practices. The various agricultural practices which are carried out at various stages of crop production are:
- Preparation of soil
- Sowing
- Adding manure and fertilisers
- Irrigation
- Removal of weeds
- Harvesting
- Storage of food grains.
Agricultural Implements:
Before sowing the seeds, it is necessary to loosen and turn the soil in the fields as to break it to the size of the grains which is done with the help of three main implements or tools – plough, hoe and cultivator.
Plough: Plough is a large agricultural implement which is used for ploughing or tilling in the fields.
Hoe: It is an agricultural implement used for removing weeds, and loosening and turning the soil.
Cultivator: The cultivator is a tractor driven agricultural implement which is used for loosening and turning the soil in the fields quickly.

Static friction is a force that keeps an object at rest. It must be overcome to start moving the object. Once an object is in motion, it experiences kinetic friction. ... The maximum force of static friction is μs times the normal force on an object. The frictional force opposing the motion of the crate is equal to the applied force but acting in the opposite direction. This frictional force is called static friction. ... When the applied force is larger than the maximum force of static friction the object will move.

When the body is in rest or have tendency to move then it has static friction and when the body is in motion, the kinetic friction may oppose or may support the motion depending on the conditions. The direction of frictional forces is opposite of the Applied force on the object.
For an object at rest on a flat table, static friction is zero. The maximum static friction force is: (fs)max = μs N where μs is the coefficient of static friction. Static friction is subtle because the static friction force is variable and depends on the external forces acting on an object.
