That does not change the fact that they are nevertheless fundamental to the governance of this country. These principles provide the social and economic guidance for Indian Democracy and pave the way for the establishment of a true welfare State.

As the name indicates, these principles command the State and its instrumentalities to follow certain fundamental principles while formulating and pursuing policies

These principles are the guiding light for the attainment of the objectives that our Constitution aspires for. These principles chalk the path for the State to follow in order to secure the greatest good for the greatest number in the way consistent with our Constitutional philosophy and vision.

The Directive Principles envision for all citizens the equality of opportunity and adequate means of livelihood, avoiding concentration of wealth in few hands. In short, the Directive Principles envisage equality, liberty and freedom.

There is a disadvantage with synthetic fibers that synthetic fibers melt on heating. If the cloth catches fire it can be very disastrous. The fabric melts and sticks to the body of the person wearing it. It is therefore advised not to wear synthetic clothes while working in a laboratory or working with fire in the kitchen.

No velu is not a smart boy as he left his house for a small r reason and now he is picking up garbage and other crash the life early was better for him and now he has been going to start doing that work only as he has no other work

Tripti Rawat 6 years, 8 months ago

1). Velu is not a smart boy. He has come to Chennai but he does not know what to do. He just sits on a bench with his head on his knees. 2.) Velu is too slow to decide: when jaya offer him to find food if he goes with her, he takes too much time to think.3). Too Hesitant: Jaya had to drag him across theroad. He was hesitant and could have been run over by a vehicle. Even when Jaya gives him a sack and a stick to go with her to work, he scratches his head. But for Jaya, he would have either starved to death or would have been counting bars in jail.

Classification of natural resources on the basis of development and use:

 • Actual Resource: Resources whose quantity is known and which are being used at present are called actual resources, e.g. coal and petroleum.
 • Potential Resource: Resources whose entire quantity may not be known and which are not being used at present are called potential resources. Potential resources can be used in future once technology for that is properly developed. For example; uranium reserves in Ladakh.

Classification of natural resources on the basis of origin:

 • Abiotic Resource: Resources which come from non-living sources are called abiotic resources, e.g. soil, rocks and minerals.
 • Biotic Resource: Resources which come from living beings are called biotic resource, e.g. milk, leather, timber, etc.

Classification of natural resources on the basis of their exhaustibility:

 • Renewable Resource: Resources which can be quickly replenished are called renewable resources, e.g. wind energy, hydel energy, solar energy, etc.
 • Non-renewable Resource: Resources which cannot be replenished in the near future are called non-renewable resources, e.g. coal and petroleum. It takes millions of years for the formation of coal and petroleum and hence they cannot be replenished in our lifetime.

Classification of natural resources on the basis of distribution:

 • Ubiquitous Resource: Resources which are available everywhere on the earth are called ubiquitous resources, e.g. air and water.
 • Localised Resource: Resources which are available at select locations on the earth are called localized resources, e.g. coal mines in Jharkhand. Topography, climate and altitude are the major factors which affect the distribution of natural resources.
