Contact and non contact force

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 5 months ago

Contact forces : Force that arises with the contact of 2 or more objects involved. Examples : Muscular force and Frictional Force

Muscular force is the type of force wherein we use our physical strength to change the state of motion of an object. Eg: Man pushing a car, Bullocks pulling a cart of load, Cycling, Weight Lifting

Frictional Force is a force that acts on all moving objects by the surface which it is in contact with. Eg: A ball rolling on the ground encounters friction by the ground surface and it eventually comes to a halt. When the rowing of the boat has stopped, the boat comes to a stop because of the frictional force exerted by water on it. The Frictional force is always in the direction opposite to the applied force.

Non-contact forces: Forces that arise without the contact of 2 or more objects involved. Examples: Magnetic Force, Electrostatic Force, Gravitational force.

Magnetic Force is a force that attracts certain metal objects (like iron and iron filings) towards a magnet.

Most countries in the world have a Constitution. The Constitution serves several purposes. First, it lays out certain ideals that form the basis of the kind of country that we as citizens aspire to live in. A Constitution tells us what the fundamental nature of our society is. A country is usually made up of different communities of people who share certain beliefs but may not necessarily agree on all issues. A Constitution helps serve as a set of rules and principles that all persons in a country can agree upon as the basis of the way in which they want the country to be governed. This includes not only the type of government but also an agreement on certain ideals that they all believe the country should uphold.

The second important purpose of a Constitution is to define the nature of a country’s political system. For example, Nepal’s earlier Constitution stated that the country was to be ruled by the King and his council of ministers. In countries that have adopted a democratic form of government or polity, the Constitution plays a crucial role in laying out certain important guidelines that govern decision-making within these societies.

Nylon is made when the appropriate monomers (the chemical building blocks which make up polymers) are combined to form a long chain via a condensation polymerisation reaction. The monomers for nylon 6-6 are adipic acid and hexamethylene diamine. Nylon fibers are exceptionally strong and elastic and stronger than polyester fibers. The fibers have excellent toughness, abrasion resistance, and are easy to wash, and to dye in a wide range of colors. The filament yarns provide a smooth, soft, and lightweight fabric of high resilience.

Natural resources are a precious gift of nature to the mankind. The natural resources and the living organisms are interdependent on each other and form the biosphere. We should use them judiciously for our benefit, but avoid their depletion. The only way to create balance and harmony with nature is to conserve our natural resources.

Some of the ways of conservation of our natural resources are:

(i) They should be protected from being polluted.

(ii) More and more vegetation should be planted and endangered species of plants and animals should be protected.

(iii) The wild animals should be conserved by establishing national parks and sanctuaries.

(iv) Hunting of animals should be prohibited.

(v) Recycling of waste materials must be encouraged.

(iv) We should use alternative sources of energy

or use them judiciously  rather than conventional sources like fossil fuels.
