Forests have been very crucial to the development of all empires and settled developments in India.
- Metal ores such as iron and copper, gold and silver, coal and diamonds, invaluable timber, most medicinal herbs and animal products (e.g. wax, lac and honey) and animals themselves (elephants, the mainstay of imperial armies), all came from the forests.
- The continuation of life depended heavily on forests that helped recharge many of India’s rivers and the availability and quality of our air and water.

The sword had an incredibly hard and sharp edge that could easily rip through the opponent’s armour. This quality of the sword came from a special type of high carbon steel called Wootz which was produced all over south India. Wootz steel when made into swords produced a very sharp edge with a flowing water pattern. This pattern came from very small carbon crystals embedded in the iron.

It is actually the reaction to opperessive policies of British rule in India against Rowlett act and Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.
during the movement Indian Muslim who particited in Khilafat movement gave their support to this MOVEMENT as well. it is sought to secure Swaraj in india, Gandiji promised Swaraj in Indian if the non co-operation movement successfully implemented.
The other reason for movement is that Gandhi lost faith in constitutional methods of British government and turned from cooperator to non-cooperator of British rule in India

When a particular social group is forced to live on the fringes rather than in the mainstream; this is called marginalization. A marginalized section of the society does not get proper opportunity of socio-economic development. Marginalization means when a certain person or a sect of people are made to feel of lesser importance, by those in power. Marginalized persons are forced to the periphery or the edge of society. This, in turn, robs them of the facilities and opportunities enjoyed by the non-marginalized sections of society.
