The brittishers came to India for trading but when they saw and realised that the people of India are not united even the kings are also not united then they thought that if they work properly then they could rule India. Thus by using their technology and intelligence they made a law of susbidiary alliance in which they promissed to all the kings that they will protect them and will help them in their wars but in due course they ownself killed the kings and took over their kingdoms. This is how the east India company established their rule over India.

"Justice delayed is justice denied" is a legal maxim. It means that if legal redress or equitable relief to an injured party is available, but is not forthcoming in a timely fashion, it is effectively the same as having no remedy at all.  It means that when the judicial system is too slow, it denies people the ability to take advantage of the laws and protections that a government legal system provides. Delays are often caused by a system having more cases than it can handle and also when one party to a lawsuit uses delay tactics.

Yes, power is an important input for economic development. Without power, modern industries and services cannot function. The only economic activity that would be possible without power would be traditional agriculture. Traditional agriculture cannot ensure a high level of economic development in a country.
