Plants breathe through pores these structures are called stomata.Stomata are pores found on stems, leaves and other plant parts that control gas exchange. Essentially, these structures allow carbon dioxide to enter, and along with water, carry out photosynthesis in the presence of light, to produce glucose. Oxygen is released through the stomata as a waste product resulting from photosynthesis, and some water vapor also leaves through a process called transpiration.

Ruminants are mammals that are able to acquire nutrients from plant-based food by fermenting it in a specialized stomach prior to digestion, principally through microbial actions. The word "ruminant" comes from the Latin ruminare, which means "to chew over again".
The process typically requires the fermented ingesta (known as cud) to be regurgitated and chewed again. The process of rechewing the cud to further break down plant matter and stimulate digestion is called rumination.

Mixed cropping, also known as inter-cropping or co-cultivation, is a type of agriculture that involves planting two or more of plants simultaneously in the same field. Possible benefits of mixed cropping are to balance input and outgo of soil nutrients, to keep down weeds and insect pests, to resist climate extremes (wet, dry, hot, cold), to suppress plant diseases, to increase overall productivity and to use scarce resources to the fullest degree.
Example of mixed cropping is that maize, beans, and curcurbits (squash and pumpkins).plants. All three seeds are planted in the same hole. The maize provides a stalk for the beans to climb on, the beans are nutrient-rich to offset that taken out by the maize, and the squash grows low to the ground to keep weeds down and water from evaporating from the soil in the heat.

Ball bearing is a type of rolling-element bearing that uses balls to maintain the separation between the bearing races. The purpose of a ball bearing is to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. It achieves this by using at least two races to contain the balls and transmit the loads through the balls. In most applications, one race is stationary and the other is attached to the rotating assembly (e.g., a hub or shaft).
Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other.

Differences between manures and fertilizers:
- Manure is natural substance obtained by the decomposition of plant and animal remains by bacteria. Fertilizer is inorganic substances or compounds
- Manure provides humus to the soil. Fertilizer does not provide humus to the soil.
- Manure is less rich in plant nutrients. Fertilizers are rich in plant nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
- Manure can be prepared in fields Fertilizer is prepared in factories.
- Manure is inconvenient to store and transport Fertilizers are easy to store and transport
- Manure is absorbed slowly by plants .Fertilizers are absorbed readily by plants .
- Example of manure is Green manure. Example of fertilizer is Urea
