The rock cycle is the process by which rocks of one kind change into rocks of another kind. There are three main kinds of rocks: igneous rock, metamorphic rock, and sedimentary rock. It can erode into sediment or melt into magma. It is formed under extreme pressure and temperature deep inside mountain chains. The rock cycle is a process in which rocks are continuously transformed between the three rock types igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. If the sediments are buried under further layers of sediment, they can become lithified to produce a sedimentary rock. Magma is produced when rocks are melted.

Lungs are sacks of tissue located just below the rib cage and above the diaphragm. They are an important part of the respiratory system and waste management for the body.
The most important function of the lungs is to take oxygen from the environment and transfer it to the bloodstream.
The lungs are like bellows. As they expand, air is sucked in for oxygen. As they compress, the exchanged carbon dioxide waste is pushed back out during exhalation.

Nitrogen being an inert gas does not react easily with the oil and fat present in the food substances. But oxygen reacts easily with the food substances and makes them rancid. It is because of this reason that food items containing oil and fat are flushed with nitrogen gas before their packing to remove oxygen present in the pack.

Ribosomes: Ribosomes are found in the form of tiny particles in a large number of cells. They are used to synthesize the variety of proteins that ensure the survival of the cell.
Golgi Apparatus: Golgi Apparatus also termed as Golgi Complex is a membrane-bound nucleus. Its main function is to modify proteins.
Nucleus: Nucleus stores the cell’s DNA and it is one of the largest organelles. Its main function is to monitor all activities of the cell which includes metabolism and growth by making use of DNA’s genetic information.
Mitochondria : Mitochondria is termed as the powerhouse of the cell. They are found in almost all eukaryotic cells. The mitochondrial genome is inherited maternally in several organisms.
Endoplasmic Reticulum: It is a membranous organelle. A part of the endoplasmic membrane is shared with its membrane. It is found in all eukaryotic cells. The smooth ER is involved in the production of lipids and the rough ER is involved in protein manufacture.
Chloroplasts: These are the cell organelles that are found in certain algae and plants. They are indulged in the synthesis and storage of foods. Chlorophyll is a pigment that is present in chloroplasts that convert light energy captured from the sun to glucose, carbon -dioxide, and water for food.
