1/3 and 1/2 ( To make them like fractions) LCM of 3 and 2 is 6 1/3 × 2/2 = 2/6 1/2 × 3×3 = 3/6 Now , 2/6 and 3/6 ( There is only 1 no. between 2/6 and 3/6 , so we will multiply it with any bigger no. to find their equivalent fractions so that we can find multiple numbers between them . Here I am multiplying both the numbers with 10 . Make sure you multiply both the fractions with same number) 2/6 × 10/10 = 20/60 3/6 × 10/10 =30/60 20/60 and 30/60 Therefore, five numbers between 20/60 and 30/60 i.e 1/3 and 2 /3 are 21/60 , 22/60 , 23/60 , 24/60 and 25/60.

Shivam Kumar 3 years, 7 months ago

Let the two numbers are in the ratio of 8:3 Ist no. - 8x 2nd no.- 3x ATQ. 8x+3x= 143 11x= 143 X= 143/11 x= 13 Hence, 1st no.= 8x 8*13= 104 2nd no.= 3x 3*13= 39

X+X+1+X+2 = 51 3x+3=51 3x=51- 3 3x=48 x=48/3 x=16 Second consecutive number is = x+1 = 16+1 = 17 Third consecutive number is = x+1= 16+2 = 18

Bijatri Malakar 3 years, 7 months ago

Let First integer be x second be x+1, third be x+2 . Sum of integer = 51 . X +x+1x+2=51 .3x+3 =51. 3x =51-3=48. 3x=48.x =48/3. X = 16. The value of x =16,x+1 =16+1=17, x+2=16+2 =18
