Let the digit in units place = x
The digit in tens place = 3x
The number is 10(3x) + x = 31x
Digits are interchanged
Digit in units place = 3x
Digit in tens place = x
The new number= 10(x) + 3x = 13x
Sum of these two numbers = 88
31x + 13x = 88
44x = 88
x = 2
3x = 6
The original number is 62

Let the digits be x and y.
Then, x+y = 9
the original number is 10x+y.
On reversing, we get the new number as 10y+x
The new number is greater than the old number by 27, i.e.
(10y+x) - (10x+y) = 27
or 9y-9x = 27, or y-x = 3
and x+y = 9
Adding the two equations, we get 2y = 12 or y = 6.
Thus, x = 3.
Therefore, the original number is 36.

Each interior angle = 165°
∴ each exterior angle = 180° - 165° = 15°
Now Measure of each angle =15°
∴ Number of exterior angles ={tex}\frac{360^\circ}{15^\circ}{/tex} = 24
∴ Number of sides = 24

{tex}\sqrt {350} {/tex}
We know that 324 < 350 < 361
and {tex}\sqrt {324} {/tex} = 18 and {tex}\sqrt {361} {/tex} = 19
So, 18 < {tex}\sqrt {350} {/tex} < 19
But 361 is much closer to 350 than 324.
So, {tex}\sqrt {350} {/tex} ∼ 19.
