To find the answer we need to calculate the LCM of 5 and 2. The cube with each sides measuring equal to the LCM will give the dimensions of required cube.
LCM of 5 and 2 = 10
Volume of cuboid =5 × 5 × 2 = 50 cubic cms
Volume of bigger cube =103=1000 cubic cms
Number of cuboids required to make the bigger cube

= Volume of bigger cube/Volume of cuboid

= 1000/50 = 20

Using compound interest formula,

{tex}A=P(1+\frac{r}{100})^t{/tex}

Where, A is the amount

P is the principal P=Rs.20,000

r is the rate of interest =20%

{tex}Per quarterly r=\frac{20}{4}=5\%{/tex}

t is the time 9 months

Per quarterly year t={tex}\frac{9}{12}\times 4{/tex}=3 years.

Substitute all values in the formula,

A={tex}20000(1+\frac{5}{100})^3{/tex}

A={tex}20000(1+0.05)^3{/tex}

A={tex}20000(1.05)^3{/tex}

A=20000(1.157625)

A=23152.5

Therefore, The required amount is Rs.23152.5.

(2x + 3y)2 = (2x)2 + 2(2x) (3y) + (3y)[Using the Identity (I)]

 = 4x2 + 12xy + 9y2
We may work out (2x + 3y)2 directly.
(2x + 3y)2 = (2x + 3y) (2x + 3y)
  = (2x) (2x) + (2x) (3y) + (3y) (2x) + (3y) (3y)
= 4x2 + 6xy + 6 yx + 9y2 (as xy = yx)
= 4x2 + 12xy + 9y2

The area of a rhombus can be defined as the amount of space enclosed by a rhombus in a two-dimensional space. To recall, a rhombus is a type of quadrilateral projected on a two dimensional (2D) plane, having four sides which are equal in length and are congruent. It is also known as equilateral quadrilateral because all its four sides are equal in nature.

Different formulas to find the area of a rhombus are:

A = ½ × d1 × d2

A = b × h

  • d1 = length of diagonal 1
  • d2 = length of diagonal 2
  • b = length of any side
  • h = height of rhombus
  • a = measure of any interior angle

Curved Surface Area- The curved surface area is defined as the area of only curved surface, leaving the circular top and base.

Consider a cylinder having a height ‘h’ and base radius ‘r’.

The curved surface area of a cylinder is given as-

C.S.A.= 2 πrh
