A quadrilateral is a plane figure that has four sides or edges, so having four corners or vertices. Quadrilaterals will typically be of standard shapes with four sides like rectangle, square, trapezoid, and kite or irregular and

There are many types of quadrilaterals. As the word ‘Quad’ means four, all these types of a quadrilateral have four sides and the sum of angles of these shapes is 360 degrees.

    1. Trapezium
    2. Parallelogram
    3. Squares
    4. Rectangle

Pythagoras Theorem is an important topic in Maths, which explains the relation between the sides of a right-angled triangle. It is also sometimes called Pythagorean Theorem. The formula and proof of this theorem are explained here. This theorem is basically used for the right-angled triangle and by which we can derive base, perpendicular and hypotenuse formula. Let us learn this theorem in detail here. Table of Contents: Statement Formula Proof Applications Problems Pythagoras Theorem Statement Pythagoras theorem states that “In a right-angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse side is equal to the sum of squares of the other two sides“. The sides of this triangles have been named as Perpendicular, Base and Hypotenuse. Here, the hypotenuse is the longest side, as it is opposite to the angle 90°. The sides of a right triangle (say x, y and z) which has positive integer values, when squared are put into an equation, also called a Pythagorean triple. Right Angle Triangle Pythagoras Theorem Formula Consider the triangle given above: Where “a” is the perpendicular side, “b” is the base, “c” is the hypotenuse side. According to the definition, the Pythagoras Theorem formula is given as: Hypotenuse2 = Perpendicular2 + Base2 c2 = a2 + b2 The side opposite to the right angle (90°) is the longest side (known as Hypotenuse) because the side opposite to the greatest angle is the longest. Pythagoras Theorem Consider three squares of sides a,b,c mounted on the three sides of a triangle having the same sides as shown. By Pythagoras Theorem – Area of square A + Area of square B = Area of square C

Dear friend, The additive inverse of any number is the number that makes it equal to zero when it is added to the given number. So the additive inverse of 1/5 is = -1/5. The multiplicative inverse of any number is the number that makes it equal to one when it is multiplied to the given number. So, the multiplicative inverse of 1/5 is = 5/1. Hope it helps you.

Yes, 7 is in the list of numbers that are never perfect square. The number 9,327 is not a perfect square and we can stop here as there is not need to complete the rest of the steps ,????????

Shruti Dhua 5 years, 7 months ago

9327 is not a perfect square because the ones place digit of this number is not among 1,4,5,6,9 and 0. And this number ends with 7.

Let the original price of the tea be Rs 100. The price of the tea is increased by 20%. Increased price of the tea = 100 + (20% of 100) = 100 + 20 = Rs 120. Increase in price = 120 - 100 = Rs 20 Tea of cost Rs 20 is to decreased out of the increased cost of Rs 120. Percentage decrease = (20/120) x 100 = 100/6 = 16 2/3 %. hence , the consumption of 16 2/3% of tea is to be decreased so that the expenditure on tea remains the same.
