write all into decimal form then you can get to know the answer.
Sol :

 {tex}\Large =>{-1\over{4} }{=-0.25}\\ \Large => {1\over{4} }{=0.25}\\ \Large =>{-1\over{6} }{=-0.1666}\\ \Large =>{-2\over{5} }{=-0.4}\\ \Large =>{-1\over{3} }{=-0.3333}\\ \Large =>{1\over{3} }{=0.3333}\\ \text {It's clear that }{-1\over6}{\text { is the answer.}}{/tex}

List all prime factors for each number.

<a href="https://www.calculatorsoup.com/calculators/math/prime-factors.php?x=64&tree=true&action=solve" target="_blank">Prime Factorization of 64</a> is:
2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2  =>  26

<a href="https://www.calculatorsoup.com/calculators/math/prime-factors.php?x=112&tree=true&action=solve" target="_blank">Prime Factorization of 112</a> is:
2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 7  =>  24 x 71

<a href="https://www.calculatorsoup.com/calculators/math/prime-factors.php?x=114&tree=true&action=solve" target="_blank">Prime Factorization of 114</a> is:
2 x 3 x 19  =>  21 x 31 x 191

For each prime factor, find where it occurs most often as a factor and write it that many times in a new list.

The new superset list is
2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 7, 19

Multiply these factors together to find the LCM.
LCM = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 7 x 19 = 25536

In exponential form:
LCM = 26 x 31 x 71 x 191 = 25536
LCM = 25536

Therefore, LCM(64, 112, 114) = 25,536

(i) Closure Property :  The sum of any two rational numbers is always a rational number. This is called ‘Closure property of addition’ of rational numbers. Thus, Q is closed under addition

If a/b and c/d are any two rational numbers, then

(a/b) + (c/d) is also a rational number

Example :  2/9 + 4/9  =  6/9  =  2/3 is a rational number

(ii) Commutative Property :  Addition of two rational numbers is commutative.

If a/b and c/d are any two rational numbers, then

(a/b) + (c/d)  =  (c/d) + (a/b)

Example :  2/9 + 4/9  =  6/9  =  2/3

(iii) Associative Property :Addition of rational numbers is associative.

If a/b, c/d and e/f  are any three rational numbers, then

a/b + (c/d + e/f)  =  (a/b + c/d) + e/f

Example :

2/9 + (4/9 + 1/9)  =  2/9 + 5/9  =  7/9

(2/9 + 4/9) + 1/9  =  6/9 + 1/9  =  7/9

So,

2/9 + (4/9 + 1/9)  =  (2/9 + 4/9) + 1/9

(iv) Additive Identity :

The sum of any rational number and zero is the rational number itself.

If a/b is any rational number, then

a/b + 0  =  0 + a/b  =  a/b

Zero is the additive identity for rational numbers.

Example :

2/7 + 0  =  0 + 2/7  =  2/7

Commutative law:- two rational number can be added in any order. Thus for two rational number a/b and c/d, we have (a/b+c/d )=(c/d+a/b). Associative law:- while adding three rational numbers, they can be grouped in any order. Thus, for any three rational number a/b,c/d and e/f,we have (a/b+c/d)+e/f= a/b+(c/d+e/f)

The ratio of Hari's and Harry's present ages is 5:7
So, let their ages be 5x and 7x
After 4 years their ages will be in ratio 3:4
Therefore,(5x+4)/(7x+4)=3/4
or, 4(5x+4)=3(7x+4)
or, 20x+16=21x+12
or, 16−12=21x−20x
or, 4=1x
or, x=4
Therefore, present age of Hari = 5x=(5×4)=20 years.
Present age of Harry =7x=(7×4)=28 years
The sum of their age is 28+20=48years

Cylinders and prisms are alike on only one account, Both are solids. That is that is common between them. A cylinder is an object of revolution while a prism is not. A cylinder has 2 flat ends and a curved surface while a prism has two polygons for the two ends and the rest are plain rectangular faces. Both of the prisms and cylinders have their base and top as congruent faces and parallel to each other. Also, a prism becomes a cylinder as the number of sides of its base becomes larger and larger. Draw the front view, side view and top view of the given objects.

A number which can be written in the form of p/q where q is a non zero integer

Shaurya Rai 5 years, 6 months ago

Those numbers which is in the form of p/q where q is not equal to 0 , it is called rational number.

Sonali Mahanta 5 years, 6 months ago

A rational number is a number that can be expressed as the quotient or fraction p/q of two integers, a numerator p and a non-zero denominator q. Since q may be equal to 1, every integer is a rational number.
