The area of a square plot is 800m2.

Area of square = (side)2

800 = Side2

Side = √800

Side = 28.28

Hence the estimated length of the side of the plot is 28.28 m.

Given the area of the square plot is 800 

To determine the side of the square, we need to take square root of the area of the square.

On substituting, the area in the above formula, we get,
