area of a square of Side "a " = a2

here , a2 = (23394/729)

so, a =  (23394/729)0.5 = (152.95095/27) = 5.66 m

so, Side of Square Field = 5.66 m

A regular polygon is a flat shape whose sides are all equal and whose angles are all equal. The formula for finding the sum of the measure of the interior angles is (n - 2) * 180. To find the measure of one interior angle, we take that formula and divide by the number of sides n: (n - 2) * 180 / n. To find the measure of the interior angles, we know that the sum of all the angles is 540 degrees (from above)... And there are five angles... So, the measure of the interior angle of a regular pentagon is 108 degrees.

Exercise 1.A

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 8 months ago

x = 5y

x + 21 = 2( y +21)

x + 21 = 2y + 42

Substitute the first equation in the second one,

5y + 21 = 2y + 42

5y + 21 - 2y - 42 = 0

3y -21 = 0

3y = 21

y = 21/3 = 7

x = 5y

Therefore, x = 5 * 7

x = 35

The number is 35.

In a right angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse equals to the sum of the squares of its remaining two sides

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 8 months ago

The Pythagoras theorem, also known as the Pythagorean theorem, states that the square of the length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of squares of the lengths of other two sides of the right-angled triangle. Or, the sum of the squares of the two legs of a right triangle is equal to the square of its hypotenuse.

Pythagorean triplet = 2m , m square + 1 , m square - 1
2m = 20. So m = 20/2=10
10 square + 1 = 101
10 square - 1 = 99
So pythagorean triplets are 20 , 99 and 101

Let the base be X
Then altitude = 5/3 X
New altitude = (5X+12)/3
New base = X-3
⇒  5X^2/6= (5X^2-3X -36)/6
⇒  3X=36
⇒  X=12
Hence,base is 12cm and altitude is 20cm

The smallest four digit no. = 1000

32^2 is more than 1000 by 24;

So the least number to be added to 1000 is 24.

Therefore, 1000+24 = 1024 is the smallest four digit number which is a perfect square.

To find the average percentage of the two percentages in this example, you need to first divide the sum of the two percentage numbers by the sum of the two sample sizes. So, 95 divided by 350 equals 0.27. You then multiply this decimal by 100 to get the average percentage. So, 0.27 multiplied by 100 equals 27 or 27%
