Weathering is the fracturing or disintegration and decomposition of rocks by natural agents. It is a static process. There is no movement of weathered material except where the pieces fall due to the force of gravity. Weathering is classified into three types:1. Physical or Mechanical Weathering 2. Chemical Weathering 3. Biological Weathering
Water, ice, gravity and acids are main agents of weathering.

The period between 8th and 18th century CE in the Indian subcontinent is referred to as the Medieval Period in the Indian History. Many historians divide the period into 'early medieval period' (up to 13th century) and 'late medieval period' (beyond 13th century). There were two technological and stylistic developments noticeable from the twelfth century; which were:
a) Arcuate form of architecture: In this form of architecture, the weight of the superstructure above the doors and windows was sometimes carried by the arches.
b) Increased use of limestone cement in construction: This was of high quality. It hardened into concrete when mixed with stone chips. It made the construction of large structures easier and faster.

Thus, money-making is not a goal of public health services. Public health services are found both in rural and urban areas. At the village level there are primary health centre, at the district level there are District Hospitals. Large cities have many government hospitals.
