     Thanjavur was the capital of the Cholas. It was an administrative town. This is situated on the banks of Kaveri. Rajarajeshvara temple (built by Rajaraja Chola) is in this town. Kunjaramallam Rajaraja was the architect of this temple. Apart from the temple; palaces with mandapas (pavilions) are present in this town. The kings held court in these mandapas. Barracks for the army were also present in the town.

    The planet Venus is the brightest planet and is brighter than any other star as seen from the earth. Venus is called an evening star as it is seen shortly after sunset in the western sky. 
    Venus is normally referred to as the evening star because it can be seen shining in the evening sky right after the sun sets in the west. This planet is also called the morning star when its orbital position changes causing it to appear bright in the morning rather than in the evening.

    People grow most of their food in small areas after clearing some trees in the forest.While men hunt and fish along the rivers,women take care of the crops.They mainly grow tapioca,pineapple and sweet potato.As hunting and fishing are uncertain it is the women who keep their families alive by feeding them the vegetables they grow.They practice"Slash and burn agriculture".The staple food is manioc ,also known as cassava that grows under the ground like potato.They also eat queen ants and eggs sacs.Cash crops like coffee ,maize and cocoa are also grown.
