A distance-time graph as the name suggests indicates the distance traveled by an object in a given time. In this graph the distance is considered on Y-axis and Time on X-axis. If the graph is a straight line then the motion of the object is uniform. The slope of the straight-line graph is the same irrespective of the interval which is chosen. This implies that the speed of an object under uniform motion remains constant.

Cu do not react with dilute sulphuric acid as it comes behind hydrogen in the reactivity series. But with concentrated H2SO4 it reacts to form CuSO4 and SO2 is evolved.
Cu + 2H2SO4 (conc) → CuSO4 + SO2 + 2H2O

A distance-time graph shows how far an object has travelled in a given time. It is a simple line graph that denotes distance versus time findings on the graph.
- Distance is plotted on the Y-axis.
- Time is plotted on the X-axis.

The process of having nutrients inside from the foods you consume is called as Nutrition. Nutrients comprise of Proteins, Carbohydrates, Vitamins, Fats and Minerals. Plants and Animals need food as it is an essential supplement for all living organisms. The basic difference between animal and plant nutrition is that animals are heterotropic organisms that is that derive their nutrition from green plants. While as plants are autotrophic as they synthesise their own food with the help of sunlight and the inorganic material like carbon dioxide in atmosphere.

Plants make their own food while animals have to rely on the plants or other animals for food. 2) In photosynthesis plant converts carbon dioxide and water (in the presence of light energy and chlorophyll) to glucose, water and oxygen. 3) Hence the end products of plant nutrition are actually glucose and oxygen. The basic difference between animal and plant nutrition is that animals are heterotropic organisms that is that derive their nutrition from green plants. While as plants are autotrophic as they synthesise their own food with the help of sunlight and the inorganic material like carbon dioxide in atmosphere.

Human being, a culture-bearing primate classified in the genus Homo, especially the species H. sapiens. Human beings are anatomically similar and related to the great apes but are distinguished by a more highly developed brain and a resultant capacity for articulate speech and abstract reasoning. Traditionally, humans were considered the sole recent representatives of the family Hominidae, but recent findings indicate that chimpanzees and bonobos are more closely related to humans than are gorillas and orangutans and that the last common ancestor between the chimpanzee and human lines lived sometime between seven million and six million years ago. Therefore, all great apes are now gathered with humans into Hominidae, and within that family humans and their extinct ancestors are considered to make up the tribe Hominini. See also Homo sapiens; human evolution.

RESPIRATION: The biological process in which food is utilized to produce energy is called respiration. Respiration is necessary for survival of the living beings. A living being cannot survive even for a few seconds, without respiration. During respiration, it is mainly the carbohydrate which is oxidized to produce energy. This can be shown by following equation:
Carbohydrate + Oxygen → Carbon dioxide + Water + Energy
C6H12O6 + 6O2 → 6CO2 + 6H2 + Energy

- Clayey soil-
*When the soil contains large amount of small particles i.e. clay, the soil is called as clayey soil.
*Small clay particles have little space for air because these pack closely and water can be easily held in the very small spaces.
*Clayey soils are heavy because of greater water holding capacity than sandy soils; these are wet and not well aerated.

Physical changes: When a substance undergoes a physical change, it does not give rise to a different kind of substance or there is no new substance is formed. A physical change is a reversible change.
For example; heating of water melting of butter, cutting of paper etc.

A sand clock works on the principle that all the sand from the upper chamber falls into the lower chamber in a fixed amount of time. Pour the salt or sand into one of the jars. Cut a circular piece of paper that is big enough to fit over the opening of the jar. Punch a hole in the middle of the piece of paper and put the paper over the jar. Place the second jar upside down on top of the first jar so that the openings are lined up with each other. The first hourglass, or sand clock, is said to have been invented by a French monk called Liutprand in the 8th century AD.
