Lewis structures (also known as Lewis dot structures or electron dot structures) are diagrams that represent the valence electrons of atoms within a molecule. These Lewis symbols and Lewis structures help visualize the valence electrons of atoms and molecules, whether they exist as lone pairs or within bonds.

1 kg = 1000 g
Temperature = 30 degree Celsius
Let's do unitary method :-
When :-
Temp = 1, mass = 1, cal = 1
Temp= 30,mass = 1, cal = 30
Temp=30,mass=1000, cal = 30000
So, heat required is 30000 cal or 30 kcal.

The motion of pendulum starting from one extreme end to another extreme end and back to the first extreme end is called one oscillation.
A simple pendulum consists of a small metal ball (called bob) suspended by a long thread from a rigid support, such that the bob is free to swing back and forth.
The time period of a simple pendulum is the time taken by the pendulum bob to make one complete oscillation.

The soil is created by the process of weathering or disintegration of parent rocks by physical, chemical and biological agents. It is a slow process that takes thousands of years. The physical and chemical decomposition is principally done by water, wind, and climate. As a result of these processes, large rock pieces are converted into smaller pieces and eventually to the soil. Living organisms such as insects and microorganisms make the soil ready for the plants to grow. The growth of roots of plants further adds to the weathering of rocks and thus forms soil.

Conductors are the materials or substances which allow electricity to flow through them. They conduct electricity because they allow electrons to flow easily inside them from atom to atom. Also, conductors allow the transmission of heat or light from one source to another.
Insulators are the materials or substances which resist or don’t allow the current to flow through them. In general, they are solid in nature. Also, insulators are finding use in a variety of systems. As they do not allow the flow of heat. The property which makes insulators different from conductors is its resistivity.

Certain metal surface reacts with oxygen and moisture which is present in the air and gets coated with it by the formation of iron oxide in case of iron.
- This process is known as rusting of the iron. This reduces the tensile strength of the iron and also causes destruction of the iron. For this purpose there are a large number of processes which are used to prevent rusting.
- One of the process is the galvanizing on the iron. Painting is one of the cheapest method to prevent rusting of the metal.

1) Loamy soil is a mixture of sand, clay, silt and humus in the right proportions.
2) Loamy soil is a mixture of large and small rock particles which impart it the desired properties.
3) Loamy soil has the right water-holding capacity for the growth of plants.
4)The excess water can also drain out through it easily.
5) Loamy soil has also adequate air spaces between its particles to hold sufficient air needed by plant roots.
6)Loamy soil can also be ploughed easily.
7) Loamy soil contains sufficient amount of humus. So, loamy soil has all the necessary nutrients for the growth of plants. Loamy soil is the most fertile soil.
(a) If the soil contains greater proportion of big particles, it is called sandy soil.
(b) If the soil contains greater proportion of fine particles, it is called clayey soil.
(c) If the soil contains about the same proportions of large and fine particles, then it is called loamy soil.
